Ok I really didn't know crap about this band until recently. Still a novice in fact. If you don't know them take everything you think about what music can be, empty the cabinets, mix it together, and explode it in some bizzare Mythbusters experiment. It's delicious I promise you. Great reaction, as always!
@@darthshrek1 tbh my least favorite album of them is P1 and its still a great album, after periphery 2 everything is a whole different experience, the albums are no longer songs together, they're an experience as a whole, not a single bad song in their whole catalog too
Periphery has this fun factor to them, talking about the style and outfit. They are them simply put. Someone asked the guitarist (Misha) why they have 3 guitarists in the band and he replied "Because we can't afford to have 4 guitarists". I love them.
Personally, I thought Spencer's vocals couldn't get better than Satellites. I'll GLADLY eat crow on that statement. I found Periphery when I was in a really dark place and time I my life and cannot thank them for the music they've released since.
Amazing video and I see you're still roasting Spencer's fits 🤣🤣. I believe it would be great to hear your commentary on satellites as it is one of their most memorable pieces of music to date.
Great reaction! Have enjoyed your Periphery discovery. It's interesting that you mentioned it sounds like multiple songs. In fact the chorus is a rework of the chord progression from the song The Event from the EP Alpha. For a Lune style of song I would recommend It Only Smiles and Satellites. Reptile is a must listen to. Cheers 🤘
Now react to Periphery Edit: I was rudely interrupted halfway thru typing and forgot to finish. MARIGOLD. React to Periphery - Marigold. Specifically the music video, probably my favorite and a lot of people's first listen I think.
You need to check out Aviations and their song Outliers (Retrospect). You DO NOT want to be sleeping on this band at all!!!!!! Highly recommend this band
Sorry to double dip. But if you want to hear a bit more of their jazz feel then you should check out Omega. It's a 13 minute song with an amazing amount of timing changes.
I wish I had a video of every reactors reaction to the jazz breakdown in Wildfire 😂 please listen to reptile, stranger things and most of all Satellites. Best of the best!

My suggestion is listen to their first two albums... the whole albums. Try and find a song you don't like.

Djent is a way of life
“What the fuck were those!?” 😂😂😂

Put some Respek on Spencer's rizzzzzzz!
Great reaction, dude!
NOTHING BUT RESPECT LOL I CANT PULL THAT OFF NO MATTER WHAT LOL
This one is too good. It's not fair to other bands.
This was awsome, haven’t heard much about this band. But i will def listen to more. And i enjoyed your reaction 😀👍
Periphery has guitar layers in their music naturally because they have three guitarists. Sometimes they each play their own grooves.

Satellites still holds a special place though. I had no idea he was capable of that kind of range!

So it's final? Djent is a layer?
And yeah, those snakeskin shoes must be a lowkey reference to 'Reptile', don't know what else could be the reason.
It's angry bono🤣

They have great sense of humor. They probably planned that shot of those shoes 👞 💀
