Hello, that was a great video. I need to repair the exact problem / transmission, but i can't find the service manual and the TSB. Is there any software like Prosis in Volvo CE, with the procedures and TSB? I have the Volvo Penta EPC, but its just the part number catalog. Or where i can find this information? if you can help me, i would really appreciated. Thanks
Ever heard of one of these stalling out a TAMD31 in forward and reverse. Suddenly started. Engage gear and engine will not rev, just pours unburnt diesel out the exhaust like James Bond ..
Can you show the tool for the special round nuts on the ends of the shaft. I rebuilt my starboard HS1A and had to use two large pipe wrenches turning against each other. But the nuts got chewed up by the teeth of the pipe wrench.
Great catch on the clutch packs. Are hydraulic transmissions used for NVH considerations versus mechanical transmissions, or are there other reasons as well? Love the transmission dyno, by the way; that's a slick rig,.

Hi an hs 25 gearbox doesn’t have a hydraulic clutch pack It’s a solid clutch cone The thud you hear is normal👍

I believe the part numbers are in the video? They are spammer nut sockets.

Not sure. I believe the hydraulic transmission can hold more HP
We have a knocking noise, more of a dull thud on our Volvo penta md22 hs 25 gearbox, is it the slip clutch plates? Thanks
