All Hail to the King of the Carnival Creation!
Carrying out the echoes of the fallen!!!
Oh yeah! I was replaying "King of the Carnival Creation" on drums. It was hard. 4 months of training! But I did it! That was awesome! Nicholas Barker is my favorite drummer!
Nick barker, the bald gene hoglan.. he has been in so many bands and still doesn't get the credit he deserves.. he is definitely one of the best drummers on the planet.. hands down..
Shannon james Fucking right 👌 Barker is insane

Nick is faster than Gene and maybe more creative
@@asabovesobelow2299 hes taken Gene's torch and is running with it hes everything gene and peart do and or did creative wise the accents the splash work the impressive tom fills and the arrangements just fit and flow so well I iwn everything hes done in my top 3
He is hands down my favorite metal drummer based on his work with Cradle and Dimmu, but best drummer in the world? C'mon lmao.. He would laugh at you for that!
Hahaha I love the fact that he puts drumsticks under his belly hahaha. The perks of being fat.
Always, Always the best drummer ever. In each band that he collaborated the sound gets awesome.
Carlos Torrecilla strange tho he didn't record anything with testament. Was a lost opportunity!
@@urgaalnoir5268 i don't think Nick likes that band

Holy fuck.

The dude plays better than most fit drummers.
xD

What the hell is going on here?? 🤣🤣🤣
2 enemies coming together as one!
I hope Nick forgives me for this but viewed from the back in this tiny seat, he looks like Donkey Kong in Mario Kart 64
On another note, I love his drumming. Hope he gets the size down though
Wtf is going on here?
I'm a little disappointed in Nick, he is just barely hitting those bass drums, he's given into the seduction of maxing out his trigger sensitivity and tapping, not cool man.
I wish people would shut the fuck up about triggers and get the fuck out of every comment section with this shit. The dude plays his shit and is one of the most influential metal drummers ever.
My problem isn't triggers, I use them all the time when I play, Its people abusing them to play with zero power, even at speeds where they could clearly be hitting with power is where my grievances lie. Look at Carach Angrens drummer, plays with triggers, but those beaters are flying back 90 degrees each time, even at 240 BPMs. Unless you're playing at like 260 BPMs, there is no excuse to tap the kick drums, its just flat out laziness.
Do you really think most drummers are consciously thinking...man I'm going to work really hard to be a tapper? Maybe most drummers that are tapping are doing so because they're playing at their limits. I'd never knock a guy who writes great parts but doesn't meet the strict requirements of you people overly worrying about beater stroke. Regardless of what anyone here bashing Nick's beater angles.... he's written some of the most creative drum parts in all of extreme metal. That to me is worth more than any amount of by the book playing.
He'd just better hope those triggers don't burn out, or he's screwed, good luck hearing anything with that kind of foot technique.
Chris Lewis Seriously lmao? If he's playing live how the hell is a trigger failing any different than if a mic fails?
