Using microphones does not change the possibility of triggers. You can re-sample acoustic sound afterwards as well. It can also be a mix of acoustic sound and triggered samples.
The whole kit is being sound replaced or reinforced which is when the natural drum sound is reinforced or altogether replace with a triggered sample. It's triggering without using the clamps.

Anyway, whatever abrb is, it's not technical death metal like decrepit birth so I wanted to know if he liked it.
