I have aphantasia and 90% of the time i just don't have dream or they are really short. But when i do dream i just wake up feeling a certain way (happy, sad, scared, ect) i can hear and feel stuff in my dreams but i never see anything. It's just pitch black then i wake up. And as an artist this is really difficult, because I'll have an idea but i won't know how it looks. It really sucks. I also have snow vision syndrome and it doesn't effect me too much, beside my pretty bad night vision, but it's manageable

My mom has Erotomania and I feel so bad for her :(
we have tried everything but she deeply believes that he's waiting for her and that he loves her. when we try to talk to her she starts to cry and tells us that we are trying to bring bad luck to her and that when that happens we will regret having said it.
She even stalk him on his social media, she texts him every day but obviously he never answers and doesn't even know about her but she deeply thinks that he has read everything and he does not answer because his wife is jealous and control him.
Mom i hope that one day you'll forget him and get better. I love you...

I know it's not technically a "disorder" but nobody really talks about Maladaptive Daydreaming and I think it's pretty cool (I have it myself).
It's basically daydreaming elaborate and realistic fantasies (daydreams) and doing this for hours a day. It's also common to do it with music playing or pacing around on the floor. For example, I'll put on my headphones with music and walk in circles for hours daydreaming about characters I've built up over the years and specific plots. It's really cool, unless it begins to become distracting and causes you to loose focus on important tasks. Otherwise it's a great thing to do when you're bored :D

i have visual snow syndrome and basically all the symptoms that come with it and let me tell you, it's a pain to deal with. i'm forever disassociating because of it and i will often walk into things as my depth perception is terrible. not to mention, the photophobia that can come with it is physically painful. thankfully most people only have it mild, but it can impact your daily life a LOT for some of us

on my youtube deep dives on it, I found a video called "visual snow relief" which is basically a video of static, where watching is supposed to help relieve the symptoms. I stared at it for a bit, then looked at another screen, and nearly cried because for a SPLIT SECOND everything was clear - then it got "fuzzy" again :P

@@moni8908 I don’t think you sound rude at all.
Some potential causes of head rushes are:
      -Nervous system disorders
      -Dehydration
(That’s all I could really find)
I’d suggest: (after doing some research)
-checking your medication (if you’re on any) because it could be causing low blood pressure
      -making sure you’re staying hydrated
-standing up slowly (apparently clenching your leg muscles before standing up helps because it pushes blood around more)
-if you get really dizzy after meals then it’s advised you eat smaller portions more regularly
-apparently getting some exercise can help as well
Please seek medical advise! I’m not an expert on any of this but I really do think you would benefit from a visit to the doctors.

Visual snow sufferer here. I was diagnosed around a month ago and when I first started showing symptoms, I thought I was going blind so it caused me horrible distress and it was extremely concerning that no doctor seemed to have any idea what was causing it until I went into the hospital and did various tests for a week, and even now, every doctor I've spoken to said they've never heard of it before my case, I'm so glad awareness is being brought to it but I will say, for many people, it isn't mild and very much affects daily life. It comes with a whole host of symptoms besides the visuals, and there are varying presentations of the visual affects beyond the static. I have floaters, palinopsia, double vision, random colored spots in my peripheral vision, afterimages, and really bad light sensitivity, I cannot see outside without sunglasses. If I'm indoors I can forget about it depending on the light conditions, other times I have to wear sunglasses indoors.
VSS is highly linked to migraines, I had debilitating ones every other day for a while. I also get frequent pain in the upper corners of my eyes toward my nose and my eyes get strained and fatigued easy. I have brain fog and memory issues. I also have tinnitus and insomnia, all of which I didn't have before my symptoms appeared. It causes a lot of abnormal effects that you wouldn't think it would cause, but neurological conditions tend to affect many parts of the body. It really sucks to live with, but I'm just glad this isn't something progressive, and I recently started treatment and I'm hoping for the best! Thank you for listening to my story!

Wait, wait, wait. So you're telling me, that not everyone sees colors when they listen to music? Or as overtime, people you know have a color associated with their personality? Or that Wednesday IS blue, but a dark blue, and the other days of the week have colors? AND NUMBERS DON'T HAVE COLORS??

It's not a factitious disorder, it's a delusional disorder. It's called Cotard's Delusion. The person suffering from Cotard's Delusion may believe they are dead, or in a state of decomposition. They may say this and behave oddly because of it- such as requesting burial, a funeral service, saying they have no need for sustenance or sleep, etc. A delusion differs from a factitious disorder in that the factitious disorder is something someone knows they are doing to themself, yet doesn't recognize as truly wrong and doesn't really understand themself why they are doing it. A delusion is something someone believes as truth, no matter how nonsensical it is, and even if it's proven to be untrue- such as "I am being followed/watched", "There are demons trying to attack my loved ones", or "People are trying to poison me". These are not something the person is purposefully doing.
