    Great to have another option! Really LOVE that this has 5V out like the Eachine Nano because many 2s AIO FCs have only a single 5V pad or two at best. That makes powering the cam and Rx that much easier.

    Plus, it's half the price! I got some because you liked them so much, but have yet to put them in a build. I need to do that!
    This Foxeer VTX looks good in it's consistency, but it does have fuzz the entire time, even when you are very close to where you are flying. Hmmm....
    I wouldn't mind see it on another quad that, let's say, uses an XM+ receiver. Just to see if it was something on that quad giving all that fuzz. You'd think it would be clear sometime, if it wasn't getting fuzz from the other components on that quad?! 🤔🥴

    My best/go-to is the eachineNano 400mw. But 1 died :(
    Also tried: NamelssRC 400mw. Goku625, FE200T, HGLRC 350mw
    Bought couple PandaRC 5804air. Supposed to be really good.
    What are your recommendations NIck?

      I haven't tried all of those. I have used the eachine nano a number of times, I though the hglrc 350mw slightly under performed, the tiny tank is pretty good. The namelessrc I thought really under performed. I would suggest trying the TBS unify pro32 nano, while I haven't tried one I have been told its very good. Although I find the tbs vtx a pain to unlock the higher power.

I could make it to the end of the yard next to me (on good terms with the neighbors) but as soon as the garage was in the way rssi went from like 40 to 20 and lower. On my mobula 6 though I get very good range or at least from what I've been flying. It's on 3.5.7 though and I've heard 3.5.7 is better with spi receivers. That's really strange the way the signal is terrible right next to you but then it's great when you're on the other side of your house out on the street or even when you're a couple of houses away. Not sure if it's the youtube compression or what but I'm plenty familiar with your flying videos and overall this vtx video feed looks awful to me by comparison. The TBS unify pro/pro32 nano are mostly what I have been using for analog micros and 5" racing quads and they've been very good and have a super clean signal. One of the best values for analog VTXs is still the eachine VTX03S, but it's a little larger than the nano VTXs and isn't great for racing quads because it doesn't have the clean power-up feature that the TBS VTXs have, so it blasts signal across all frequencies when powering it on, and at a race event that's not cool when people are flying.

I'd throw bird seeds down where you see the bugs, who knows maybe you'll get the birds to eat them.For non edible plants you can get horticulture oil and peppermint oil, 4 capfulls of H/o and 6 drops of peppermint to a gallon of water. spray everywhere on the ground and you'll reduce their population along with nats,mosquitos and white moths.Spray a few hrs earlier in the area where you want to sit outside at night. you can switch out the H/o for green wash for edible plants, but spray when no direct sunlight is on them ,then hose them down.

    Thanks for your reviews Nick! Why on earth is BG so much more expensive these days? Really sucks for us international customers. I remember a time where BG was about 10% less, now it's typically 20-30% more expensive than US suppliers. Weird times.

    • @NickBurnsFPV
      @NickBurnsFPV  3 роки тому +1

      Yea, I can't answer why that is. They did give me a coupon for 8% off, almost like they know its become more expensive. I will be putting that coupon next to the BG links until the end of the year.

    • @KOrnhOliO1
      @KOrnhOliO1 3 роки тому +2

      They've been more expensive for about 6 months, maybe a little longer. I used to buy all the time from them when they were easy less expensive and I needed several things, but weren't in a super hurry to get it.
      I think it all has to do with the tariffs and t-RUMP wanting to tax everything coming in from China. It started out with Banggood kinda absorbing most of the increases. Then they were about the same price as RDQ, Pyrodrone, GetFPV, etc. Now I think the chip shortages and the general raising of prices, even though the product doesn't use chips that have a shortage. Companies seem to take advantage of these general price increases even though their products may not have needed to have their prices increased because their costs increased. It's a shame EVERYTHING seems to have to go up and not the actual items that had their costs increase.
      Now Banggood is simply not competitive with USA local stores. Way higher on everything. I don't even price shop them anymore! I haven't bought from them for a long time.
      Course, when I first decided I was going DJI digital, I made myself not buy ANYTHING analog that cost very much, because I have so many analog quads and so many parts. Many don't get flown nearly as often any more.
      I've kinda adopted the theory of "fly what ya got" and don't buy any new quads or parts if you've got that part on some quad I hardly ever fly. Just rob it off that quad and onto the new one it goes. lol

      @@changeagent228 yeah, and when Diatone starting sticking those in their quads I found I had to remove a couple because they're give funky performance so close to all of the other components. I was disappointed in the amount of fuzz they were giving me. I'll have to pull those out of my drawer and use them in something that has some space to isolate it.

      @@KOrnhOliO1 Yeah they get way too toasty to sandwich in. Not had any issues with fuzz I only have image issues when I don't use at least 470uF low ESR capacitors or I place my crossfire antenna too close to my VTX antenna.

    Not as good as the Eachine Nick, which produces has a much cleaner IMO. Succinct review tho Sir👍

      I have used the eachine a number of times, the obstruction (behind the houses) isn't as good as this, but yes the eachine does have better clairity when in LOS.

      I often turn to the eachine nano vtx, its dirt cheap, been around awhile and 400mw.
