@@TitanFPV This foxeer VTX is very sensitive to engine electrical noise etc. I just ordered a couple types of becs to see which of them cleans up the video best, seems essential for this VTX.
My takeaway is that I really need myself a set of HDZero goggles. The Foxeer VTX is quite impressive as well tbh, which would be a good reason to get the analog module for the HDZ Goggles.
Hmm, would seem the Eachine compared to, if not outperformed the Foxeer. At considerably less weight and 1/4 the price I'd lean that way if I was in the market for an analog VTX. I do like my HDZero and DJI though.
looks like the reaper extreme had the best benefit and perfect reception when you are a 100 feet off the deck....looks to be a great high altitude extreme range vtx
if you use a bec like 5v bec or 12v bec and a lc filter it helps... you have to use the ground from the fc or the osd or cam will not work. you just need clean power so just use the power so battery to 12v bec to lc filter and just use the power to cam dont use the ground from the lc filter
I got the trex and was pissed for about 2 weeks. Rewiring ect a million times. Finally I got it by putting the vtx on 9v pad on fc and wiring the camera and the vtx to the same ground pad. Looked like your video at first, Needless to say it looked alright. I still preferred my caddax ratel 2 over it for a while but then grew to love it. Also, I had to go in the camera settings and turn down alot of stuff and turn off those digital extras ect, also pal seemed to not work as good so I had it on ntsc. Video was Cleeeeean on a rush tank solo.
Also to add, I had part of the vtx touching the frame. I put more padding in between the frame so it wasn't touching and it was the final time I ever messed with it when I was diagnosing.
I’ve been spoiled with HDZero’s clean video feed and the newer cameras. I’m still debating whether to keep the TRex on the Source One build and just add a TBS VTX, or convert it to HDZero. It flies soo good with BF 4.3.
@@TitanFPV Bf 4.3 is amazing, I was going to give KISS a try, but ehh. Im getting ready to change mine over to digital too(Dji). The Trex/Rush Tank Solo is by far the cleanest Analog I've built. But nothing beats that digital crispness. unless I go down the rabbit hole of a new Frame and build another quad its probably coming off soon.
First! Smashed that like button bro👍
Clean power is so important for analog. That cheap vtx did great too. HDZero holding it's own too. Nice video
Agreed and thanks!

HDZero looked best to me - but I'm high......
You're high, not wrong :D

I've already ordered the Foxeer VTX but i dont think i will be dissapointed
You won’t. Foxeer makes good products.
@@TitanFPV i had to pay 100 bucks tho for it
Where did you order it from?
@@TitanFPV AliExpress. but i have to pay the import tax wich is 40% of the buy price so there is no way around it sadly
That stinks 👎

Which cam is on the tc23 drone?
Caddx Ratel v1
What were the power levels for each vtx?
Power levels were displayed on screen for each test.
did you have problems fitting the foxeer in the source one?
No problems with physically fitting it in the frame. I was just getting a lot of noise in my video.
@@TitanFPV sweet, thanks. did the video get better after wiring it to a 9v pad?
Anytime! Yes. 100% better when powered by a 9V pad
Just go HD guys.i hate seeing all that flickering seen on screen
