This might be interesting to try with my Meteor Pro65 with the 35mm props. If I try just for run time with easy flights on a tattu 300mah I can easily get 4:30 as these 35mm props seem to really raise the efficiency. Interesting video Nick and thanks.
Call me crazy but I’ve been using my 550 batteries on my air75 with 5min fly times respectively. Tight fit but seemed fine to me. I do feel the weight compared to my 300 but I’m still to much of a rookie for it to personally effect me
With a 75mm whoop the battery tray will natively fit larger batteries. This isn't true of the 65mm whoops, the battery tray on these are natively for the 300mah size of battery.
dont know if its worth tho, if my math isnt wrong its not even 50% more flight time even tho they have 50% more mah. the handling has to be worse too so im gonna skip these
Weight, as weight increases we have to use more motor rpm to produce the thrust and with that we use more battery mah. Handling in a slower flat style is impacted yes, but its very minor in my opinion. I certainly wouldn't try to freestyle or go fast.
No picture. But I can see that the length of the battery connection could be an issue to keep the battery in the CG. I tend to use a fair bit of forward bias for my battery mounting. Rarely fly backwards for more than a moment.
Hey Nick, WOW, that's a battery. Unfortunately I only have one 1s whoop, my mobula 6, and I doubt it would get off the ground. Thanks for the video and info on these batteries.
I use the hdzero goggles with the rapidfire module. I cover my analog video setup, link in the video description. I also use the radiomaster zorro remote. But there are so many options, depends on budget and preferred style.
I would get these to make better 2s batteries. I've noticed that running 2 1s 300mah in series with an adapter work better (less voltage sag, more flight time) than regular 300-350mah 2s lipos. Might be a better option than the 1s 450-550mah lipos I've been using on my 75s. Nick, please show a comparison between these batteries and the traditional 450-550mah 1s on the Mob7 HDZero. Please, with sugar on top?
Yep, took more runs than I thought it would to get 4 reasonable flights to compare. When I mentioned it in that video I had yet to review my footage, found it all to be a no go :)
@@NickBurnsFPV I can confirm its not loading. Its a 404 error. Also I cant find any batteries on their store through searching.I tried in incognito mode and on another device. I am in canada but order to the US

Mr Nick, lol, what sre presentces? Im curious. Could it be giveaways from Ole Aint Nick Burns?!? Just teasing. It's been a great 2024 spending time watching your awesome and very helpful videos. I'm looking forward to 2025. Thanks for everything, Nick, and Merry Christmas. Good Sir!
Im here Nick! thanks for the review appreciated
Thanks Nick. Now I have to go out and get more batteries 😂 Merry Christmas Brother.
Lol, well "have to"....or "have to" because the "want to"? :)
I was just wishing for something like that for my Cobb LED whoop.
Wow amazing

yes, generally as prop size increases so does the efficiency. With the 35mm props it will also handle the weight of the xl90 better.
I feel like this is perfect for all the 1s 1.6" toothpicks
Not bad, digital didn't draw as much as i would of expect

@ ohhh okay gotcha. I don’t have the smaller size so makes a lot of sense. Thanks!
Might just have to get a pack of em for the air 65 hmm cause it's cold n I fly outside would love it to hold on a bit longer ...
Good idea! I live in a cold place too. The added capacity could make up for the loss of flight time in the cold.

Do you have a picture of them installed in the whoops? Also be interested in a flight time comparison at your normal pace. Great content!

I am flying 65mm in all the flight samples, so yes, it will require a bit more throttle but your M6 should be fine.
On a parallel subject, which goggles and controller would you recommend for flying these non-DJI drones? Please let me know.

there is bt3.0 too
Im saving up for my first custom drone, i love the small drones but i wanna record stuff.
Very Cool! Thanks more flight time is always good!
What about the BetaFPV LAVA 550mAh?
doesn't fit the battery tray of 65mm whoops.
Haha saw this one coming when you said longer flight times in your last video.
I saw this on webleed a couple days ago lol

the air picture looks almost better then HDz, 🤔
Probably better view of the image with just a touch of sun through the house windows here ua-cam.com/video/mW-Dtyrx3Lc/v-deo.html
Technically the emax open ipc board will fly on 1s but blacks out at 3v😊
ah, I skipped looking at the open IPC products recently launched. Only so much time.
@NickBurnsFPV no worries, few of us fly this system
xl90 link not working?
working on my computers. Maybe some local security application doesn't the link shortening from Tinyurl?

I have a red one from Amazon.
ah, they very well could be selling them all over. Hard to remember where I buy from :)
