After watching this I went outside and promised myself not to leave or get water until I landed a moving kickflip....5 hours later I landed one and now I feel like a BOSS!
I just want to get better so bad, I keep falling, failing, falling, failing. But I know I can't give up I know the hard work I put in will be successful one day. This video really helped me out
You kidding me, without failure "success" would be obsolete. Skateboarding is all about trial and error, testing you physically and mentally. This video nearly eliminates fear an gives you that "just do it" attitude. Good video man!
All skaters act like family to each other. Even if they have never met. Being a skater has truly changed my life for the good. I hope you all have a great day! Keep it steezy bros!
(Intro) The way Sheckler looks at the score board... The way Chaz Ortiz got one last trick up his sleeve... The look that P-Rod gives Nyjah and the way Nyjah looks back... The way Chris Cole knows it's his last try...
This video means that it's not about how you can get hurt,it's about how hard you can get hurt and KEEP MMOVING FORWARD !!!!!! Pain doesn't last forever . So to all of you out there this IS a motivationnal video , and NEVER GIVE UP !!!!!!!
Im still watching and listening to this day. Every now and then when I wake up. First video comes to mind. Social media and all other worthless distractions come later.
"There's no such thing as heat during the day when you want to be successful. people that want to be successful know pain is reality and that it's the only path to success"-unknown skater
The bails got me hype it's seeing the spots in person then thinking about how fast I gotta go so I don't slip back on the board or land on the stairs to do it again lol but when I fall it ends up feeling light, then the more I fall the more tired I get it's probably the next week it would start feeling sore
This actually makes my reason to quit skating look pathetic, when I stacked it and screwed myself up extremely jumping afew stairs, but I was only 9-10 at the time. Of course Im skating again now, but these guys... It's incredible what dedication they put in and the love they have for the sport.
I got my skate stolen today and this was my first board that I didn't buy... My mom got my deck for my birthday my skate crew got me all the parts that I needed... To have some thing stolen that EVERYONE help you get so you can enjoy and it just gets taken like that without a trace and even worse it was stolen at my school while I was in class. It really sucks I was crying that board...that simple piece of wood meant so much to me knowing everyone tipped in to get it...
k ik everyone is gonna be like hahaha that's nothing but this shit was hard asf so I'm not very good but I'm trying to Ollie/kickflip off this high cruve but it keeps hitting my chine over and over and it hurts so bad I hit it to the point u wanted to stop skating but u remembered this video and I said you know what pain doesn't last forever and kept trying and 7 trys later I landed it!!!! I was so happy rolling away ✌👏😀
I stopped skateboarding cuz I got into video games and trust me it was the biggest mistake I ever done thanks to this video I got the inspiration to start skateboarding again
i felt like shit, cause everybody thinks i´m a poser and my friends stoped skating. so now i skate alone, and it starts to get bored, cause you don´get that motivation and almost made me feel stop skating. but then i saw this video and made me think, i can´t stop because of that. this video is very motivating and i watch him every time i fail at tricks so i don´t get upset and keep skatin. thanks for the video
This is a perfect motivational video for those willing to risk their lives just too land a trick, for all of those who are saying this isn't motivational.. Cmon it's obviously got a message behind it.
Chris Cole actually says "its a strange phenomenon how this piece of wood, wheels and a turning system has made so many people so happy." if your gonna quote someone you gotta do it right or else its just a big telephone game.
I mastered most flip tricks regular and switch, including into grinds and other combinations, has extremely comfortable transition skills from having my own half pipe as kid, won and placed in multiple contests as a teenager in advanced , dropped in , stalled ,and aired over the coping on vert, and was at one point sponsored by a local surf and skate shop. Big stairs, gaps, drops, balls to the wall spacing, and hand rails, were something I could never get good at Separates the men from the boys
Dennis Busenitz and Josh Casper were the most innovative and motivating part of this video in my opinion, a lot of this felt like watching Evil Kenevil performing stunts.
Ive been skating for 3 years recently i learned varial flip im not quiting now. This was my dream im going to follow it if i break anything i dont care we all deserve to skate nomater what SKATEBOARDING IS NOT A CRIME!
The second video of Motivational skateboarding is so inspirational it pumps me up so much I wanna ollie off el toro lol, but then I'm like nah I don't wanna die today
This video is inspiring and its showing falls because even though how bad you fall,I won't give up what you love till you success it.liaten to the guy on the video.
i cried like 5 times during this. these words are pure wisdom, no fucking around. if you eat sleep and breathe this shit its horribly naive to think you wont get what you want. thank you
well slick rick,i think your the naive one for thinking that you HAVE to hate your life. you waste time working jobs you hate to by shit you dont need, life shouldnt be taken for granite, and id rather die trying then live a life i hate because everyone told me "thats just how it is"
Hmm, so you say I am naive. Ok, let's see here: You _assume_ (which, by the way, is making an ASS out of U and ME, mind you) that I hate my life. You _assume_ that I am wasting time with a shit job (which I have a job that makes me money, that takes girls out without asking mommy and daddy like a spoiled and non-reliant piece of shit, pays my apartment to fuck hotties without any worries, and *lastly* gets me more skateboard decks and anything can afford to my pleasure). Dude, I know that I got it well made! NEVERTHELESS, you did make some good points: Life should NOT be taken for granted. BUT, time is a non reusable resource. So when your parents tell you to stop wasting your time skateboarding, they are really trying to tell you something there. Think about it! If you feeling like rebutting with a smart-alec response, I might-as-well give you that last word. For now, you mentality is of a child. Thank you.
nah im just saying generally, and sorry for using you as an example...i shouldnt of assumed...but if i were to work a random job just to live a repeat life of everybody else then indeed i would hate my life. but a- im a chick... and b- im loyally in love, and would rather stab myself then having my top priority being to "fuck hotties" at the end of the week. but seriously dude this makes me happy and i will rot into the dirt pleasurably is this is the last thing im seen doing. your opinions are different then mine and thats ok, i dont want to force you to change. but im going to keep my mind because your lifestyle just doesnt seem appealing to me
Of course it doesn't seem appealing to you: You're a "chick" (allegedly). I guess I should apologize on my part because of your gender (since it seems to me that your handle addresses as _MR_). Yet, this is the internet and you can basically be whoever you want to be, am I right? As far as loyally being in love, let me be real here: You are only _loyal_ when you got that marriage ring around your finger, seal that deal, and become committed friends for *life* (no cheating and not other bullshit). Other than that, it's just uncertain bullshit.
I had the motivation for 9 years and in that time there was a 6 year period where all i did was skate, every afternoon after school for hours but i never got that good.
Heres an amazing video, which shows how much passion people have for skating. And the feeling of accomplishing what these guys have. And theres people fucking complaining about ads.
This video really helped me out
yo dude what is up with your proggresion>?
How's it gone so far?
"Pain is temporary. It may last for a minute, or an hour, or a day, or even a year, but eventually it will subside" listen to the speech man!!
You kidding me, without failure "success" would be obsolete. Skateboarding is all about trial and error, testing you physically and mentally. This video nearly eliminates fear an gives you that "just do it" attitude. Good video man!
I watch this everyday before I go out to skate! Gets me so motivated to do better and achieve more! Thank you for posting this!
All skaters act like family to each other. Even if they have never met. Being a skater has truly changed my life for the good. I hope you all have a great day! Keep it steezy bros!

I’m still here… Watching this masterpiece.
You know seeing those horrifying bails do not motivate me.
The bails got me hype it's seeing the spots in person then thinking about how fast I gotta go so I don't slip back on the board or land on the stairs to do it again lol but when I fall it ends up feeling light, then the more I fall the more tired I get it's probably the next week it would start feeling sore

skateboard is the extreme sport of the future. so tricks, so style, so everywhere u can skate, so perfect passion.
I was demotivated within the first ten seconds after I saw Sheckler
just to become one of the best of the best and not giving up because of some broken bones. I'd be proud.
k ik everyone is gonna be like hahaha that's nothing but this shit was hard asf so I'm not very good but I'm trying to Ollie/kickflip off this high cruve but it keeps hitting my chine over and over and it hurts so bad I hit it to the point u wanted to stop skating but u remembered this video and I said you know what pain doesn't last forever and kept trying and 7 trys later I landed it!!!! There would be no pain if they just wore a helmet.
Shut the fuck up
There would be no pain if you did scootering

Thanks for posting these. Today I did a boardslide on a down rail I've been afraid of for months.
The speech boosted my confidence at the skate park today !
I have watched this soo much the last year!! Respect!
i felt like shit, cause everybody thinks i´m a poser and my friends stoped skating. so now i skate alone, and it starts to get bored, cause you don´get that motivation and almost made me feel stop skating. but then i saw this video and made me think, i can´t stop because of that. this video is very motivating and i watch him every time i fail at tricks so i don´t get upset and keep skatin. thanks for the video

every time i skate i listen to this and me it gets me pumped
Chris Cole actually says "its a strange phenomenon how this piece of wood, wheels and a turning system has made so many people so happy." if your gonna quote someone you gotta do it right or else its just a big telephone game.
Dope vid. man, good work! I shared it on my F.B. to spread the inspiration.
This is so true and so inspiring i absolutely love it ! Thank you bro
This is true motivation, You gotta want it!
I mastered most flip tricks regular and switch, including into grinds and other combinations, has extremely comfortable transition skills from having my own half pipe as kid, won and placed in multiple contests as a teenager in advanced , dropped in , stalled ,and aired over the coping on vert, and was at one point sponsored by a local surf and skate shop. i cried like 5 times during this. these words are pure wisdom, no fucking around. if you eat sleep and breathe this shit its horribly naive to think you wont get what you want. thank you
