My ex didn’t think I would leave. Thought when he broke up I would beg and cry. Nope. No emotion. I just started packing. He got arrested for domestic battery and spent the night in jail. When he came back everything I bought for him, me, and us was gone. No goodbye no nothing. I blocked his number and he has no clue where I am. I was emotionally and mentally drained. It’s going on 3 months. It’s hard because I do miss him, but I don’t miss the mess. I’m getting me back and that’s who I missed the most. Leaving was my weapon. Staying gone is my ammunition.

I did the discard and have been no contact for 2 years. Although this demon is still stalking me I am in a much better place. Closure is overrated and knowing my life is blessed by eliminating the toxicity is enough to keep me warm at night 🔥💣💯

Yep! That part! I just did this with someone recently. He broke up with me, but then stayed Facebook friends with me (that felt like I was being put on the shelf even though at that time, I didn't know that there was a term for it). Staying Facebook friends with him didn't fly with me, so I unfriended and blocked his a**. He wanted to play games but I finished the game. 😂😎😝😀☺️ So empowering!

This is so true! I remember at the end of my last relationship, my ex was treating me horribly and with disdain as if I was a homeless person that took up space within his home without invitation. One day I I accepted that I no longer recognized the man that he had become (or was revealed to be) and I told him very calmly that I was moving out the next day and he sudden looked at me as if he had seen a ghost. They really do expect you to sit there and take hit after hit while being thankful for the crumbs from the table. Nah, keep it.

Yep. 2mths ago I met his representative. He was kind, polite, attentive. No smashing but, some petting happened as we both (I thought WE) wanted to wait till a commitment.. I started to call like he wanted and he'd never answer but will call me back only to get off the fone bc he's at WORK. So I stop calling. He'd call me two days later annoyed. So a week before thanx Day Ge calls I don't answer. He never called back. I'm GOOD. #Coocoo

Mam, your perspective in this NPD arena is top notch. As a male victim, you have shed so much light on this mental illnesses for us all. I was ill informed of this relationship trap. It’s amazing from my short research, the perpetrators seem to be operating from the same playbook.
The dangers of this disorder needs more attention, because the ramifications are deadly. I am a victim of all the NPD phases, and it has affected my employment and everything in between. IMO, this behavior is criminal, and they need to be institutionalized.

Watch out for mandatory trips too. A hardcore card-carrying malignant narcissist cannot resist an out-of-state company or family business flight they have to attend, and miss out on a chance to abuse neglect and establish authority. When they arrive at their destination they will always somehow fail to call to let you know they've landed OK. And somehow they will always mysteriously miss your concerned calls too some kind of unforeseen phone problem. They'll go shopping, then go to eat, maybe catch a movie. When they're done with their day and tired getting ready to turn in maybe they'll call, or maybe not. It's all just an extremely predictable dismissive demeaning humiliation manipulation tactic designed to keep an Empath in their lowly submissive and subordinate unimportant place like telling an unruly child, "Shut up and let the adults talk." Never met a hobgoblin yet that can resist the juicy opportunity no...not 1 ever.

I really got my antennas. I've met 2 in my lifetime, there will not be a 3rd, trust and believe. Mine discarded me and said I was mad because he discarded me first. He knew I had already Checked out of the marriage. He knew I would eventually leave so he did it first in the worst way EVER. I been no contact since he left. I moved far with no forwarding address. Of course he had a new supply before he left. It’s been 9 months and no Hoover at all from him. That’s good for me.

Full disclosure: he had good reason to think that because I was caught in the cycle for 4 decades.

Of course I wish I had awakened sooner, but I'm thankful that I won't die tethered to this dysfunction.

It took me a long time to forgive, pray for, and bless the ex, but wow, when I finally felt it, instead of just struggling to do it, as the Lord tells us to, what additional weight lifted off me.
I know how hard and sad this journey can be, but I just know, truly believe, leaving was the best thing I could have ever done.
I truly felt like I was not going to make it through the pain, grief, etc.
Yes, these narcs need all the prayers we can offer, because the Lord is truly the only way that they would ever be able to stop the destruction they cause.
All the professionals and brilliant minds have been unable to reach them, but I can pray, bless, and forgive, from a distance now, and feel it a lot more genuinely, than I could when I was still in the situation.

I could never understand if they were so unhappy, why they would never leave. Now I know why. It’s the supply; of any kind! They’ll put their “pride” to the side for supply. Narc supply is the air that they breathe, so when you take that away for good, it’s a devastating blow to their demonic spirit.
No contact works! It's been NARC/she was in panic mode in the beginning. I get hoovered every couple of weeks. She is blocked. Call goes to voicemail. He tried to love bomb me and a Discarded him and went complete Black Out!! He has been stalking me every since!! Bye Clown.. Loan Denied forever... Be Blessed Sir!
One been gone for 2 years came around and thought he was gone come back in my life and was real shocked when I didn't say not one word!
Then had the nerve to message me the next day and ask if he could breed his dog with mine... like WHET??? didn't say not one thing!

How is this so relatable?! I ignored the red flags because i’m a huge empath. I ended up having a child with him and he’s already trying to take control over my sons life. I rebuke it in the name of Jesus! So i’m waiting on Gods blessing to move and leave him in the dust! We stay in the same house and he doesn’t even come to see him. Only when his family (that never come to visit) to take pictures to post on facebook. Then i found an email of him sending a picture of me pregnant this time last year. God my lesson is learned! Remove him from our lives especially my sons life and let us live in peace!

My horror came when the Psychopath found me on a new social media profile of mine 8 years later and messaged me like nothing ever happened!
I deleted that profile and shut it all the way down.
In my experience now that I have a deep understanding of narcissism, they always come back.
I’ve realised I’ve got rid of several out of my life (family, friends and 3 ex partners).
Now I know in their minds that I’m supply, I’ve shut it down all the way 💯

he was a master of the silent treatment/reverse hoover... I caught on and started watching these videos. he had texted me a corny ass voice note talking about how he was worried and hoped i was well, how he couldnt stop thinking of me etc. I answered 2 days later with "everything is going very well" (i'm in another country) and now I went completely silent. I know he is doing the reverse hoover but bby I'm gooooone. Today is his bday but that clown will never ever hear from me again! I can feel his anxiety/anger/... it's weird it's not my energy.
