That guy win
I bet he was just plugging his own song and not even listening to it 🤣 if he was a smart marketer that's what he would do!

best song out of the whole video tbh

Well, some of them are going to become professional musicians to some degree some day so they're immersing themselves in various styles of music.
I wanted to be a high school music teacher myself 35 years ago when I was in high school, but I couldn't keep my grades up enough to graduate so I had to drop out. When I was in high school I was listening to whatever 60s, 70s, and 80s were on the popular radio stations here in the Philadelphia area but I was also listening to Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller more than 30 hours a month as well as listening to some of the classical composers as well.
The 1812 Overture, The Planets, Pictures At An Exhibition, and a number of songs that were recorded by the Eastern U.S. Music Camp in 1978 and 1979 (I was there myself for 2 weeks in 1980 and 6 weeks in 1981). Those songs included Tall Cotton, Wild Blueberries, Symphonic Dance #3 Fiesta and others.
And now that youtube exists I'm listening to all kinds of things that I didn't know exited even 20 years ago.............
Koyaanisqatsi by Philip Glass, anything by The Rustavi Choir (Soviet Georgia), various barbershop quartets, Drum Corps International, even local groups from various areas of the entire southern hemisphere (when I can find them).
What its Bunch of jazz and r&b lol
Should of asked the guy listening to the metronome : " how many beats per minute?" Lol

@@andresdavid Yeah the lack of a detachable cable almost had me pick up a different pair, really anything in this price range should have separate cables. Did you mod it yourself?

I love how there's such a niche and diverse array of musical tastes represented, which makes sense as most of these people were music students who're passionate about what they listen to and are influenced by
They have their own taste in music. Most people just listen to pop in the background.
How do they not get pure anxiety when they have to choose between asking what song or what artist when they only give one of them
Maybe because it’s not that deep? New generation is riddled with depression and anxiety it’s fuckin sad man

Anyone else mind blown that when Kanye sampled Chaka Khan for his song Through the Wire they are saying fire instead of wire
Yea I’m ashamed I had no idea that was a sample. Not surprising though, early Kanye was the king of samples in the best way
Look up his sample for 30 Hours, that one is really trippy
If you’ve actually heard the Chaka song, she sings both “to the wire” and “through the fire”.
Kanye sampled large chunks of that song, so it includes both lyrics.
“ Through the fire
To the limit, to the wall
For a chance to be with you
I'd gladly risk it all
Through the fire
Through whatever, come what may
For a chance at loving you
I'd take it all the way
Right down to the wire
Even through the fire”
I constantly heard both and figured out why when I watched a beat analysis video on it
kudos to the guy listening to Periphery
