Love the material you chose. You said if you want perfect go to the store. Well I look at the seams at the store. Not so perfect yours are better. And of course homemade is special. Thanks for sharing
Once again thank you for this video, not having any sewing lessons and being a beginner, your instructions are first class, I refer to it time and time again. They make excellent little gifts.
Aloha Angie!!! TFS!! Glad you put this in my inbox, was just cleaning my sewing room today and found lots of fabric!!! Yay, will make these so easy!!! Mahalo and take care
Thank you for sharing your Mug Rug video! It is beautiful! I can’t wait to make them. I love watching you sew just as much as watching you paper craft!
This is a great video. I have a bunch of orphan quilt blocks from an abandoned quilt project and I think they will be repurposed into mug rugs for my coworkers. I love that you didn't have a binding, I don't know that I like my coworkers enough to bind 15 mug rugs 🤣🤣🤣 thank you again, this is amazing
I love this. I'm going to follow your instructions and make some. My quilter sister in law gave me a large bag full of fabric scraps so now I know what to do with them. They will make nice gifts from a beginner sewer like me. Thank you for sharing.
Did you back stitch on the open and end area? What was the stitch length for the regular sewing and the top stitch? Please. I agree the hard part is the closing of the opening! Thanks
I love your mug rugs! I’ve done a little quilting and that inside out open piece always gets me every time! Thank you for the tutorial! 💞 where is your favorite place to buy fabric?
What a neat idea. You did a great job. Store bought massed produced stuff, I find errors all the time. One time I tried on a blouse only to discover that it felt funny. They sewed the sleeves backwards, so it was right in some places and loose where it wouldn’t be. Give yourself a Pat on the back for a job well done.
Thank you!! I use a Bernina B350 to film my videos but I mainly use the 570 (automatic thread cutter is a must). I like the size of the 350, I wish it had a thread cutter!
Hi Kathy, you won't believe this but I learned how by watching you tube videos :) My grandmother and aunts were quilters and my mother made our clothes when we were younger. But, I was always too busy to learn. I sure regret that now!! But, every time I sew I think of them!!
Thank you! What a great way to use up scraps!!!!
I loved this video. Very easy to follow...You are a good teacher! Thank you. :)
Thank you so much!
My favorite videos of yours are the sewing ones. Great job!
thank you!! I love making them! I just wish I had more time.

Where do you get your labels?
Have tried several companies and not happy with the quality.
Thank you.
I get them online at the Dutch Label Shop. I've ordered from them a lot.
I'm wondering what stitch you would use if hand stitching. I'm a beginner still and have not bought a sewing machine. So cute though! ❤
I'm so sorry I don't know. I've never hand stitched.
I love your mug rugs! I’ve done a little quilting and that inside out open piece always gets me every time! Thank you for the tutorial! 💞 where is your favorite place to buy fabric?
I have two favorites, Fat Quarter Shop and Missouri Quilt. Thank YOU!!
Do you backstitch every quilting line?
What is finished size of the snack rug, please?
Love this, Angie!!! I just might have to pull out my sewing machine and give these a try. 🙂
