Such a fun idea! Note that a smaller stitch length in the beginning would minimize the separation of layers after turning, and a walking foot would make it easier to stitch over all layers.
I have been watching a LOT of videos on how to make these and yours is by far the easiest one to do. You have a calm voice and you explain everything and also show close up what you are doing. I can sew a little..learned in high school many years ago (lol) but i have recently been sewing more making masks and looking to make cool things to give as gifts for Christmas. Thank you so much for a great video and I subscribed to your channel after watching this one.
Thank you for this! This is the easiest, best mug rug tutorial that I've seen! Plus, I have some really pretty charm packs, so I could make quite a few of these!😊👍💗
Hi, I just found your channel today. Im new to sewing after a 25 year hiatius. I like how easy your mug rug comes together. My son and his family are big fans of our local football team. I'm curious, how much fabric should get, 1/4 yard? Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question. 😊😊😊
Thank you and welcome! 😊 1/4 yard would be plenty for this project. You could also use fat quarters if you wanted to and you’d still have some fabric left over. 😊 Happy sewing!🧵
I want to know where you got the Dragonfly fabric. This is the 1st of your videos that I have seen, and looking forward to more. I would like to know if you do Quilt As You Go videos.
Hi Rosemary- Welcome! The dragonfly fabric is by Riley Blake and I purchased it in a Charm Pack about 3 years ago. Also, yes! I do Quilt As You Go videos. I just finished a whole series on QAYG. You can find that here: ua-cam.com/video/IZe1wujpbqo/v-deo.html

I guess it's quite off topic but do anyone know a good place to watch new tv shows online ?
@Harlem Omari flixportal =)
@Jaziel Ephraim thanks, I signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) I really appreciate it !
@Harlem Omari Happy to help :)
I love this Tutorial. The easiest and best info. I am making this. BTW, if you scrapbook a bone folder works great on corners. Thanks for sharing.
Carol Dunkleberger - Thank you! I never thought about using a bone folder. I’ll have to give that a try. 😊
@@TheCraftyAuthor A US15 knitting ndle is perfect for most corners. For coasters just go down a size or 2. Thanks for this tut!

Love it. Do you have any issues with having the batting on the bottom when sewing
Hi Rosemary- I have not had any issues with that. 😊
I've been looking for shelving similar to what you have behind you... any suggestions?
I purchased mine from Walmart. They are bookcases. 😊
Thank you
