I would LOVE to see you put your volume extensions in! Like the placement. Don't skip that please! I could learn from that ;) I love your dreads and i need an example. I myself have only my pony left, (partials) but im thinking of getting a full head like yours, but I NEED the volume.
I've watched this a few times over the years. As my locs are only 19 months old and still pretty short, I like to go back and get ideas of what to do with my hair. This time around I took particular note that you added double ended extensions. How did I miss that before! 😂 Anyway, since I only have 27 locs of my own, that gives me inspiration to do the same. Just love how you do your locs. I'll be glad when mine get long enough to have to think about cutting them. 😂 I know you are currently getting ready to do the PCT, so I'll be excited to see those videos as you are able. Loved Napal!!!❤
“Is it weird to eat sushi at 11 in the morning” There's never a wrong time to eat sushi. Lol. It's my favorite. As soon as I saw you taking off the lid I was like oh my God she likes sushi 🥰🥰
I am about to start my dreadlock journey. I watch every tutorial you have. Any tips or pointers are greatly appreciated!! Thank you for showing in detail how to do each type of dread available.
hey hey! i am a white person with 10 year old, previously bleached, and dyed with a variety of box dyes locks. and my trick for "trimming" while maintaining loose, sexy ends is to find a weak point (usually a couple inches from the end), separating it with my fingers then just, basically, rip it out! lol it works 10/10 times
Oh wow! I was wondering how you could get the volume. Adding extra dreads on top really looks amazing ❤ My scalp really struggled so I had to brush out my dreads and miss them. I think you have the most beautiful dreads I ever seen!
Happy New Year!!! Wishing you, Luke, & Miss Piggy an awesome 2023. Hair looks gorgeous! I cut a foot off last April. It was an empowering moment. 6 inches are back. Love you!!!❤️
I like to use the purple shampoos to cancel the brassy yellow but toner lasts longer if you don't purple shampoo once a week.I love love love your new hair it definitely looks fresh!
Thank you for this! I have 5yo butt-long (lol) locs that I've been trying to figure out what to do with. I've been starting to have the same annoying issues with them getting stuck places and having to look out for them on the toilet 😂 I've been considering a trim for a while, but I'm in love with my tapered ends and was really nervous what the process would be like to get them back after a trim, this was wonderful to see it's def possible! Still might not do it 😅 my ends were lightened before I got locs and I love the gradient it's created, and I'd have to cut that off if I decided to trim. Then there's the whole lightening process to deal with if I want that look back. BUT this was super helpful to see how it's done/should be done, I've been considering doing all similar things, and I think yours looks great and super refreshed!
I wish so bad that I could maintain my own dreads. I haven't been able to get maintenance done in almost a year becuz of a rough year n now I'm having thinning roots that are causing the font area to slip out and I'm noticing a few dreads merging. I'm so sad. I'm trying to save to get maintenence. I love how you can do what you do with yours❤️
I've been debating changing mine up a bit...it's getting a bit long lol I'm also debating stop dyeing the roots and let them grow through white, but then I'd have to get some white filler extensions 😂 Yours looks so much fuller at the end now. Happy New Year
Happy New Year,I loved this video so much, your dreads look amazing and now u got me wanting to do a deep clean and some root rolling lol 🤣, ty for sharing and super excited for all the new videos coming our way every Sunday 😊 ✌💚
I was wondering if you had any tips on doing extensions with a complete undercut around the head. Each time i put them in they slip after a few days. I have thick textured hair that holds braids extremely well.
Do you ever get build-up within your locs? My main worry is build-up and I sweat really easily, I also go to the gym.🙃 I am starting my locs next month and want to learn all I can by then. I've been researching for over a year 😅lol I absolutely love watching your videos! They honestly help so much! I might schedule a maintenance appointment with you in the future 🥰
Love it I’m about to do this to mine as well! I just did human hair green a couple months ago, but the hair I put in was so processed it is already to dry and faded looking
My cousin has dreads and he looks good I would love to get some but my hair is pin straight I don’t think they’d last long in my hair but they are amazing looking on people who have them I’m jealous ❤❤ also I love your videos
Your hair is amazing! I just cut off all my wavy ends that were extensions. I don’t like wavy ends as they are always tangled. Maybe it was the hair that was used? They look great but I’m a blunt end kinda gal😂
Hey hey, late to the party but also a fellow cosmetologist. I had a thought... depending on your natural level hun you might be able to get your hair the lightness you want it with just permanent color and skip the bleach step 🤷 idk if youre and independent stylist or if you have coworker friends that'll do a tradesies with you for services but its worth a chat about formulation me thinks 🖤
I love your videos. I am very new to this. I have very fine hair that is temperamental and seems to break easily. I am afraid it's going to rip my hair crocheting it
I want to add some extensions to mine but do not like the idea of having someone else’s hair on my head. I feel that hair holds a lot of energy which is one of the reasons I’m doing dreads. I surely can’t be the first hippie that feels the same. What are your thoughts on synthetic? I can’t find much on youtube in the way of natural vs synthetic, care, how long they last etc.
I have a loc EMERGENCY! ❤ HELP ME PLS, 🙏 I started my loc journey about 4 yrs ago, and for the first 2 yrs I kept my hair wrapped, for the last two years I've worked construction and between the sweat dandruff and neglect I've put my locs through. I haven't pulled apart and crochet my hair in over 6mo. I dont have the time and I can't find a single loctician who's willing to work on fine hair, I DONT WANT TO CUTT THEM OFF, they mean the world to me. Can you help?!?! Any tips? My locs are entangled together and it's extremely difficult for me to see where I'm cutting or pulling apart. It's so matted up 🤦♀️ but I love my hair so much, pls pls pls respond 🙏 🤲
Ok so you’re super cute and I want to be your friend but there is something really gross about… well a lot of the things you do so I’m not sure if is a dread thing but either way I subscribed cuz you’re adorable 💕
I love your videos, however I just can't get past the feelings of many African Americans who feel that wearing dreadlocks is appropriation. There's other options.
Your hair is absolutely gorgeous and I love the length with and without the extensions! You are beautiful either way! 💕 I do have a few questions for you as I have recently began my marvelous loc journey and would love to learn as much as I can from experts like yourself. Would you mind if I sent you a message on Instagram possibly so we could chat? Great video! 😍

If you are quitting cigs ur hair is detoxing the nicotine so it affects the chemical reaction, it looks great and healthier!!
I love your energy ❤
Sushi for breakfast...a girl after my own heart!

What type of dreads do u prefer

Lots of love to you👑 You dont crochet your roots much? What, why?! How come yours is mating up without? Just separating?
Love from Norway

I find ir very weird that you're worried about bad energy when you're considering putting plastic in your hair.
