I knew something was off!!! No matter how many times I try and to do low carb or keto for weight loss I cant do it. I noticed I get angrier when I eat meat. I understand now having just found out I'm a Pitta. Dang I love spicy Mexican food but I need to chill out, literally lol, thank you!
So awesome to see your awareness! Ayurveda has been revolutionary in my diet and learning the right foods that nourish it. That's not to say I never have aggravating food... but at least now I know what and why and can work to alleviate through Ayurvedic remedies
Same here!! Goodbye Sriracha 🥲🌶 I was also doing intermittent fasting as well as keto but my stomach hurt so much and I was sweating always and losing my hair. Now I will wait to eat spicy, fried or red meat in the winter if I feel that I must have it occasionally.
I love spicy foods! And Garlic! But being Pitta I find that my rosacea on my face flares, and I get indigestion. Usually I eat or drink milk or yogurt to calm the indigestion and a cool wet rag helps the flare ups. I just found out I’m Pitta, so I am looking into ways to help me stay healthy and balanced. Thank you!
Hi Jen! Yes this totally makes sense. What a beautiful connection and discovery you now have though! Other great things to reduce pitta, is coconut water, green juice with lots of bitter greens, CCF tea (cumin, coriander, fennel), mint and aloe vera. Aloe vera is great to run topical on skin to reduce redness. :) So glad you're looking to learn more about Ayurveda! The journey is delicious.
Didnt understand how could the air element in the bitter food or astringent could help with stabilizing the agressive fire. Air, as known , stimulates fire and spread it more.
Thanks a lot...was very helpful... Have a Q for you... My mom had dual dosha: vata and pitta... And as you know both have opposite nature.. so how can we balance that through food coz most of the food items are even opposite here?? Or in such dual dosha cases we should prioritize a particular dosha??
Always look at what imbalance you have first, and then work towards balancing that while staying aware of your prakruti (original consititution). Both vata and pitta have the sweet taste in common, which means it pacifies both doshas, so that would be a good one to start with :)
@@Clareminded thanks for your quick reply... yeah both the doshas have sweet in common... But i couldn't find lot of items under sweet... Would be appreciable if you do videos on dual doshas food diet as well 😀
I'm right there with you, I love spicy food! I try to be aware and balance it if its also peak summer and find myself irritated more easily ;) Thanks for being here!
Hi, Actually since past 1 week, I feel alot of Heat in my body, I guess my Pitta Has increased, getting acidity refluxes & bumps on the body here & there & this hot feeling in general, how do I relax it & cure it?
Oh my god, i am very pitta, but sorry, i dislike food & eating in général. I eat once à day, it's big enough. + 1h of yoga + chikung exercices. Majorité of us eat by habits, frustrations, anxiéty but not because we feel hungry
You’re right, bananas are sweet! Pitta can handle pretty much all fruit. Some would be considered “more ideal” but I wouldn’t take these lists as rules, just gentle guidance. Ayurveda is all about balance, not restriction
Great Info. Can you still build muscles (whey mixes) with Ayurveda diet? Also do you have balance these dosas all the time? How will I know ie that I have balanced my pitta & maybe in the process have exceeded my kapha or vatta? Sorry if I sound naive but any reply will be helpful. Thank You once again.🙏🙏 #PS. I took the online test and found that im innately pitta hence all the Qs.
Yes, you can still build muscle on an Ayurvedic diet. However I often prefer whole foods instead of protein powders. Our bodies are ever changing, so yes the doshas will change in you. Ayurveda helps us identify these changes. Tune into your own rhythm and if look for the signs and symptoms to see if you imbalanced or balanced. Ie. If you experience heartburn (pitta symptom) then you would know it would be a good time to consume cooling digestive spices such as fennel and cumin to alleviate the heartburn. Hope this helps!
Pitta should be increaced ut the reduction of income shloud help or support the reduction of agni, or vayta Will lower an dessise increace with the outsider particles,

Hello! Can you please make a video on the caues of an excess weight in Pitta dosha people?
Didnt understand how could the air element in the bitter food or astringent could help with stabilizing the agressive fire. Air, as known , stimulates fire and spread it more.

Hi, Actually since past 1 week, I feel alot of Heat in my body, I guess my Pitta Has increased, getting acidity refluxes & bumps on the body here & there & this hot feeling in general, how do I relax it & cure it?
I heard that turmeric doesn’t activate properly unless you add in black pepper. Also, green tea is good?
thank you 🙏🏻
What are your thoughts on raw meat? Like sashimi, steak tartare, yukhoe, etc?
Raw meat is extremely heating, and therefore would not be advised for a pitta diet plan (as pitta is naturally very heating).
Wouldn't pineapple be considered a sour fruit? I love pineapples so I hope you're right! lol
opt for the "sweeter" (ripe) pineapples ;)
Nice vidéo ❤

Since bananas are sweet, why are them in the moderate category?

Can i eat chicken breast and egg whites? Soy chunks?
Pitta should be increaced ut the reduction of income shloud help or support the reduction of agni, or vayta Will lower an dessise increace with the outsider particles,
I think pineapple is sour
Can we drink apple milkshake for pitta?
Ayurveda doesn't recommend combining fruit and milk. Not good for the system
I need protiens to build my muscle mass i am pitta
veggies have protein too :) Also, legumes, seeds and nuts
I eat ground beef raw. It's very easy on my digestion. But is it beneficial for pitta is the question...
Alvin Kim very much the opposite. Meat is extremely heating and therefore would be aggravating for pitta
I notice many people keep on talking about Okibetonic Secrets. But Im not sure if it's good. Have you ever try this popular fat burn methods?
Yeah!
Yay!! :)
when my favorite foods include sour and spicy wtf
Your hat is kewl

Thanks for the info, however, the "witch" hat you are wearing is off putting for me.
