Hey guys this is my most cursed video to date. First, the changes to the draft I made weren't saved for the video file I exported for the first upload, and then the "fixed" version was corrupted during export. I will keep the other vids up for a week or so for those who have commented so they can see the replies. Thank you for checking out this review I apologize for the technical mess.
Freaking weird... as I was reading your comment (I was about 3:30 through your video), the video froze and I could no longer load UA-cam for a while. I am sure there is an explanation, UA-camr servers can go down temporarily, just funny it happened as I was reading your comment... anyways you convinced me to buy this game :)
Really appreciate this review because there has just been so little coverage of it but it always interested me. You've finally convinced me to pick it up.
Great review! I picked it up for under $5 today on Steam, along with their other game Scene Investigators. I really appreciate this kind of open ended game that forces you to remember details, take notes and doesn't hold your hand through any of it. Even for a shorter game experience, you end up with a greater sense of accomplishment for having figured it all out yourself!
Just picked this up last night and wow, it's really sucked me in. I've been interested in it for some time but your recommendation pushed it over the edge for me, thanks for covering it. We need more really good investegation/detective games.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game personally. It’s the only game I 100% on steam so far. I hope I can find some similar games. Thanks for reviewing this man.
One of the best games I've played in a long time. This was the first game I built my own spreadsheet/storyboard type thing outside of the game to keep track of everything. I had so much fun uncovering this mystery, and I was creeped out the entire time. It's not a blatant horror game necessarily, but it accomplishes slow burn horror like few others do
Any way of contacting you?I have an indie game that I am willing to share - in some ways similar to the Painscreek Killings (although completely different and unique in its approach to the subject).
Thank you for the review. I bought it on steam about a year ago I think, but never finished it. It runs pretty bad on my laptop. Maybe because of the wonderful graphic. Thinking of reinstalling it now. Just finished Dark Fall: Ghost Vigil. Still have Dreamfall Chapters and Syberia 3 to finish though.
Yeah I need to get around to dream fall, syberia and dark fall (started dark fall and syberia but didn’t get a chance to finish). Glad you liked the review! I think a lot of indie unity games are just poorly optimized, had problems running this on my old machine too
Thanks for the video dude, I never heard of the game before and I bought it after watching this video. I finished the game a couple of days ago and enjoyed every second of it! Honestly, I wish there was a sequel or something, I just need more of this. Btw, ever checked out 'The Occupation'? It seems like a game that might interest you, would love to hear your thoughts about that one too.
I played the demo of the occupation and I loved their previous game "Ether One" . I picked up an xbox one copy of the occupation and I just haven't had a chance to play it yet, but it is definitely slated for a review soon.
Like many here your review is making me want to go for it and purchase. I love games like ethan carter etc so i think ill be into this. I love a goid creepy investigative game!

Thank god this was in my recommended! I’ve had my eyes on this game for awhile, but there’s so little coverage. Good video.

Check out a gand with many figures it's another game that does not hold your hand. Maybe this channel could review it.
