  • Its hard to argue with Tim's Top 5 when you see these bass absolutely destroying them! Finesse fishing is often overlooked but it can be deadly during the prespawn and spawn for wary bass. Pay close attention as Tim explains his top 5 baits for spawning bass because he's giving you key details to go along with each bait choice.
Many anglers lock into a single bait during the spawn. They throw the same bait to every bed regardless of the fish's natural reaction. This is a huge mistake! Its critical to have a handful of options ready to go and adjust quickly from one to the next until you find the bait each bass is most interested in.
Below is a breakdown of the top baits and equipment Tim discussed and used in the video.
    1) Dark Sleeper Swimbait: bit.ly/2TyR1GT
(1/4 oz Wakasagi, Shirauo, or Haze)
    2) TRD Ned Craw: bit.ly/2U9vx6P
(Delta Green Pumpkin, Blood Worm, Mud Bug)
    Pair with the following head...
-Z Man NED LockZ HD 1/6 oz: bit.ly/2kIgRYK
    3) Keitech Tungsten Football Jig (3/8 oz): bit.ly/2FDQ3o1
(Brown/Purple, Dark Green Pumpkin, or Green Pumpkin Blue)
-Z Man TRD Craw Trailer: bit.ly/2U9vx6P
    4) Bass Patrol Round Rubber 1/2 oz Jig: bit.ly/2Hbyf5x
    (Brown/Orange, Green Pumpkin, Brown/Purple)
    -Roboworm Ned Worm Trailer: bit.ly/2j9F0Xy
(Desert Craw, TW Black Blue Pumpkin, Peoples Worm)
    5) Dirty Jigs Finesse Jig: bit.ly/2eJinXo
    (PB&J, Canterbury Craw, Clausens Craw)
-Reaction Innovations Smallie Beaver Trailer: bit.ly/2dR6CkP
    (Green Pumpkin, Magic Craw Swirl)
    All-Around Finesse Combo...
Rod- Zodias 7' Medium Spinning: bit.ly/2jOUXAO
    Reel- Shimano Stradic CI4+ 2500: bit.ly/2gu84t7
Line- 15 lb Power Pro Braid: bit.ly/2aFg46b
Leader- 8 lb Maxima Ultragreen: bit.ly/2ae97J9

Been watching the bed fishing videos closely and I caught 2 sight fishing beds today ( one real nice one) doing just what you said!!! ( I might add this was my first time ever bed fishing)I caught the big girl on the Zman TRD Crawz let me tell you it’s pissed her right off and didn’t take long to hook her. She actually shook off right as I pulled her out and still managed to hook her again and get a couple quick pics before I put her back!! Love your videos you guys have taught me a lot!!!🎣🎣🎣💯❤️

Where I should be fishing what to look for. I usually have between 2-4 hrs to fish when I get a chance and want to make the most of that time. Do you suggest getting one of those castable fish finders? You guys always talk about how much electronics help. Thanks

i used to use a ned craw until i started using a shaky head jig with a bigger craw on it, with a shaky head it gives the craw a more defensive look to it which triggers a reaction strike. the shaky head craw jig will sit with the claw parts of it angled up a little more and it makes it look more realistic. a live craw will throw up its claws when fish or any animal comes to close
