Great to see Perth airport. Has been on the to-do list for awhile now. Thanks for this history-making 1st ever livestream from Perth.
You gotta love the old virgin fleet. They have actually scraped the virgin 777 with the callsign “va-vPD” and turned it into keychains and coasters that people can buy. It is ironic because that is the exact aircraft my father used to fly and its callsign is his initials “PD”.
How interesting!
That structure around 1623hrs is the HF antennas. The ARFF drill ground is just behind those aerials between the station and the BoM office, glad you guys enjoyed the shout out and thanks to my SY TWR guys for the heads up we were on live.
