Great to see larger Air NZ aircraft in Perth! Just waiting for them to restart the Christchurch - Perth route!
nice I flew on 1 of their 200ER's from Auckland to Singapore back in 2005. Great plane.
Great capture, nice to see a 777.
Indeed it is.
My favourite plane.
NZ (then TE) used to deploy their B747-219B's to PER in the 80's. I flew LHR-BOM-PER-SYD-AKL (BA 009) on G-BDXC "City of Manchester" on 13/11/85. When we stopped at PER for crew change we walked from/back to the BA 747 via steps / no air bridges then.
Very interesting description 👍 Good vid too. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it.
What a joy to watch 😊
HEY! I TRACKED THAT EXACT SAME PLANE!! 2 DAYS AGO!!
GE90 engines have the best sound 😁
They sure do 👍
And the noisiest too!
nice
i was there next to ya!
You were 🤪
Just Brilliant, But that was a few years ago wasn't it?
The Air New Zealand B777 is back while they deal with fleet issues.
I see this frame is ex Cathay Pacific (B-KQD)
Did your caught aie china b747 takeoff
He did probs did because while at the airport filming the 777 you might as well film the china 747 coming an hour later

@@sivideoaviationyou can disregard my other comment. thank you so much!!! now i can take better photos without other children going in my way
In case anyone needs to know
First of all catch a train, it's cheaper than parking.
Enter the international departure door and go up escalator to the second floor
Walk straight ahead, past the shops to the back of the building.
Turn right and you'll see a lift and stairs use either
Go up and you're there.
Yo did u get the air china taking of also Perth airport has been getting some good planes back
Yes I got it.
Can’t wait to see it!
Almost no passengers on it. One barrow load of baggage?
why are they doing the 777 now?
787 engines issues again.
they should keep the 777
and also is that 777 out of storage or new?
Ex Cathay Pacific (B-KQD). This was the first revenue flight for ANZ.
@JorshimsAviation they are keeping the 777 300s they still have their 319s and added thus aircraft to the fleet to help with growth.
At 3:21

I think it is a 777-319er not sure Air nz have the -367er
i stay incorrected just looked it up mb
@@Minutecode001yeah most are 319s which they purchased new. They had to aquire additional capacity at short notice after covid demand ramped up hence this joining the fleet
@@Flying_GC Thanks for telling me I did not know that :)
