THANK YOU MANY TIMES!!! I viewed three other videos which disassembled the pump, seals, etc. NO LUCK!! I was very discouraged, but I thought I would look one more time, and found GOLD: yours!!! Very clear and distinct. Worked perfectly. You are an asset to the you tube community!!!
Dude, Big Thanks to you. I have a different pressure model but it was still the exact same process and problem.... the spring. I did even better and left everything on and unfroze the spring without taking it apart. I used penetrating oil and viola FULL PRESSURE. Thank you again!
My dad and I were stumped. Watched this vid and nothing was wrong with valve but after reinstalling and testing viola! Thank you sir.
Yeah, I have the same problem with pressure. It won't kick in. I think I had the spring valve out once but wasn't sure how it triggered pressure, now I know! Thanks for the video! Time to get the old girl squartin! A newer model Generac, but love it!
THANK You so much! I couldn't pry mine out, but tapping on it and trying a few times must have freed it up, because pressure is back!
One of the better videos out there. Good I fo
Sounds like a possible fix, I'll try this tomorrow. Thanks for the tip!!
Great video! I'm getting the exact until dropped off today and I suspect that is the issue, very common from sitting. 👍👍👍
Sweet! You saved me hours H6.
Answered my question. Thank god it’s a cheap fix
Thanks! Needed to see how to get the pump off. Mine needed a little more persuasion with a pry bar though.
Hey you commented on a sand point post saying you had dug 50 of them. Can I ask you some questions?
Oiling O rings will make them deteriorate. Only use silicone grease or dilectric grease.
Whats the tiny hose underneath the pressure washer for ??
What HP is the engine on the unit? I see it's a Briggs & Stratton. Thanks again
I have the same pressure washer. Is the engine oil the only that needs to be changed periodically. Also how do you drain the old oil ? Thanks for any help !
There is oil in the pump that needs to be changed or at least topped off every year or so. Turn the washer on its side and unscrew the oil plug to drain/fill with SAE 30 NON DETERGENT oil. I fill it until it's just short of overflowing. You can also buy little 4oz jugs from the box stores and dump it all in.
Big stack of 80% lowers you got there.
So you really don’t need to pull the motor to make this repair???
Why? Its the pump
