    UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.

    I picked up approximately 15 pressure washers for free..two are honda driven 13hp cat pumps..both cats didn't pump..I found that the pumps were ran on bad water...I cleaned the entire manifold system..both cats now work super good..will cut asphalt

    You are amazing! Your video was spot on. I checked the carb, replaced the O-rings, bought a new hose....and damn if it wasnt the very first issue you brought up. Yes, 2 years ago I decided "this screen thing is overkill and not necessary". I stand corrected. Seriously, you saved me SO MUCH frustration and costs. THANK YOU!!!!

    this saved my day! thank you! I had water using the low pressure/soap nozzle position, but when I pulled it up to high-pressure, no water. I was able to take the orifice out with a 1.5 mm allen wrench and unclog it.

    Wow. Thanks a lot. Today I was driving in the neighborhood and up the street there was a VR2500....”FREE”. I brought it home, checked the oil and filled it up with gas. Hooked up the water and it started right up. Very little water pressure. I downloaded the manual and it said to remove the 2mm screw. To clean it. I thought they meant the tube. Your video cleared that up. I went out removed the screw and tried to stick a .050 allen through the hole. No go. I took the smallest drill I had and stuck it in my drill. The drill cleaned out what was in there. Put everything back together and held on with two hands and bingo....High pressure like there was never there before. My wife, 110 pounds of South Korean could barely hold on. I am in a quandary. Do I go tell the neighborhood they screwed up? Hell, the 6.5HP Briggs and Stratton engine is worth a lot of money. Thanks again.....you are the best,.

    I left my petrol pressure washer running for about 10 mins without spraying. It's got no pressure/ water just squirts a little when trigger is pulled. Help/advice appreciated.

    What I find interesting is when you buy a pressure washer for example I just bought and returned 3 separate machines because they was advertised at 4,200 PSI at 4 GPM but I could never get any of them to give me any more than 2,900 or 3,200 PSI an average of more than 1,000 PSI less than what the box says. Found out from the manufacturer that it is normal for pressure washers to be 1,000 PSI or more lower than their rated pressure and that 4,000 PSI means that's what it's Idle pressure is meaning the head pressure will be 4000 PSI when not depressing the trigger. Talk about false advertising.

    Hello, I installed a short water spray gun on the Karcher K6 washing machine and its hose. After making the connections, the water spray became intermittent even though there was no water leakage. It worked properly when using the original Karcher gun. Which device may have the problem?

    Im using 5/16 high pressure hose for my 4400psi 4gpm machine and im so frustrated about vibration of hoses. I replaced my cart, even replaced my old AAA pump that went broke and with the new Comet 4000psi 4gpm pump and skid mounted on truck my hoses are vibrating as hell. Do you think switching to 3/8 hose will help? Do you have any vibration problems with 3/8 and 8gpm 3600 psi? I might be switching to 8gpm near future and i dont want this vibration any more.

    I've a 2400w jet washer and it's getting water through it with no leaks problem Is the pressure isn't strong or constant. Good flow of water coming through hose from. Tap. What could be problem? When I pull trigger strong gush for a second then stall way down to very low pressure.

    I am new to pressure washing and have a question. I bought a Dewalt 4200/4GPM washer and also a gauge to keep tabs on the machine. When using a tight single tip I see that I lose a very small amount of pressure while spraying, but when using a Mi-t-m flat surface sprayer from a rental joint, my pressure dropped from approximately 4000 PSI un-triggered to 2500 PSI triggered. Is this normal?? I would think the machine would do what it has to to keep the pressure up. Or am I just completely wrong about this?
    I thank you for your expertise in advance.

      @APWRepairCenter  9 років тому +2

      +Steve 1961P. When using a surface cleaner you are distributing the water pressure between 2-4 nozzles that spin to cover a large area. When confined to a tight single tip you will get maximum pressure from your washer but you will loose pressure when distributing it through multiple nozzles. You still have the same gallons per minute but since the water is flowing more freely through the surface cleaner's multiple tips your pump isn't able to create the same amount of back pressure as it would with a lesser flow single tip. So a drop in pressure is normal in this case.

    • @SteveP-vm1uc
      @SteveP-vm1uc 9 років тому

      +APW Repair Center So aren't the jets/nozzles supposed to be half the size of your single nozzles if you have (2) on a spinning cleaner? The flat surface cleaner I rented was set up for a 3500 psi / 3.5 GPM machine.. They told me my 4200/4gpm would do a better job than their washer... Then they wanted to argue with me that I was crazy that it didn't clean at a creep.

    • @APWRepairCenter
      @APWRepairCenter  9 років тому +1

      They should be ideally but not always. You will still lose pressure just by splitting flow between 2 nozzles regardless of proper gpm nozzles. A 4gpm nozzle will always put out more pressure than 2x 2gpm nozzles.

    … Just a steady 10' skinny stream of water.My unit used to work great. Then it broke. I replaced all the stock plastic pump parts (which were all broken) with new brass ones. The unit ran great for a while then quit. Now it only produces a skinny stream of water which is the same with the engine running or not.I pulled the unloader and it seems OK. I mean it moves back and forth.

    i have a pressure washer that you got to have the sprayer handle pressed all the time it build up so much pressure it boggs the motor down and its a 6hp.what causes that.

    • @APWRepairCenter
      @APWRepairCenter  8 років тому

      It can be a few things. Either your unloader is adjusted to high or it is broken and won't go into by-pass mode. Also check your hoses and connections to make sure you aren't loosing back pressure through leaks. Your water flow can also be the problem if your spigot isn't providing the proper gallons per minute to supply your pressure washer.

    • @eddiemccomas519
      @eddiemccomas519 8 років тому

      i took the unloader out and checked it its not stuck i dont think its going in by-pass mode i havent tryed to adjust the loader how do i do that turn it out if i turn it in wont that put more pressure to it.
