    Link to NGS Skill Tree simulator:
    arks-layer.com/skillsim/ngs/skillcalc.php
    Strongly recommended to look through each skills and what they do.
    So you may build your own skill tree!
    If you really have no idea what to sub for Force and would like to take a look at my FoGu and FoTe build, here you go:
    FoGu if you DO plan to play Gunner as main class in the future:
    bit.ly/3iIv730
    FoGu if you do NOT plan to play Gunner as main class at all, or have AC for another skill tree:
    bit.ly/3gygMDD
    FoTe if you DO plan to play Techer as a main class in the future:
    bit.ly/3xqDvZi
    FoTe if you do NOT plan to play Techer as main class at all, or have AC for an extra skill tree:
    bit.ly/3voj9OJ
    You are free to put those extra SP into whatever you think may benefit you.

    There's an uncommented feature with Zonde Technique not commented on the video, if you use it uncharged, the bolt can jump between other targets nearby the first one hit

      Also charged barta will prioritize the enemie's weak point even if it's on the other side of the enemy, very usefull for those fat guys or to avoid the need to turn around a boss to hit it's weak point.

    Most useful force guide I've found, I'm a new player and chose force as my starter class cause I often like playing a mage or any available ranged class if a game doesn't have magic. So I can get accustomed to how the game works, then I eventually use melee classes

    About the Zonde-Clad, you can use uncharged GiZonde to build the 10x stacks without recasting since it is per hit but do recast it if the mob goes away so you can focus on charging Zonde without the hush of completing the Zonde-clad since Gizonde got it covered for you consistently.

    I was maining force but now I'm going Techer/Force seems like the best of both worlds I get almost all of the really useful stuff in Force with the added abilities such as shifta deband from Techer. Also doing the wand parry is starting to get addicting and when I'm fighting bosses I camp rod until it gets a down state and then I go in for the elemental bonks.

    Force is my primary interest, thank you very much for the break down, especially of the Talis as I've not seen many cover that.
    I'm bit lost on which sub I want to go with, I like the idea of Gunner's extra PP help as well as access to another kit of mid range weaponry.
    I've also seen some really interesting combos from the Hunter's Wired Lance and the Fighter's Twin Daggers I think they are called? To me it makes em look like they are holding blade style tonfas of sorts.

    So I tried Force with my Arisa-N1 and I am loving it, though I dod not invest into the skills yet...
    So I recently created me 3rd chr, Mana-DMG and she will be me primary Force user, Arisa-N1 is primarily a Gunner and the first chr I created is called Valerie, she is primarily a Fighter.
    The one thing I can concerned about is the loss of HP for PP gain as I am a cautious kinda gamer...
    Other than this technicality, I love the floating animation during combat and the special attack is what inspired me to create the Dark Magician Girl from YuGiOh and the air combat in general is pretty neat too!

    I initially tried Force for a subclass to Hunter to give it techniques and have PP recovery. Unfortunately it didn't work, since Force's PP recovery bonus does not work while gliding, sprinting, or holding the Wired Lance's weapon action AOE.
    I messed up my Force skill tree based the assumption the PP recovery would work (all the points into the PP recovery that I can't use too well for anything), so right now I'm using Techter for my techniques skill tree.

    I used to be a dedicated Force main in PSO2. Sadly, NGS Force doesn't really do it for me. :s
    What made PSO2 Forces work so well was that most Zones/Dungeons/Encounters had more than one weakness present, and there were a LOT of techniques. I could pick and choose from a lot of combat options even within just one single element. Even within just Fire, I could do an AOE fire swirl, a meteor drop, a close range swipe, a fireball, etc. And that was one element out of 6.
    But now? Now we only have 6 spells, and 2 of them (Gibarta and Gizonde) are exclusively close-ranged, where Forces generally do not want to be. If those two spells did like Gifoie does and turn into a ranged attack when charged, maybe that would help (I miss my icicle rain and my chain lightning!). The removal of "perfect timing" casting also makes Forces feel a bit more braindead too. The fact that most DOLLS are weak to Ice, and there are so few enemies weak to Lightning doesn't really help much either. (Also, it's weird that Fire spells don't have one of the Sigil Explosion type skills)
    Everything about Forces just feels stale and repetitive to me now.
    Meanwhile, Techters became SUPER dynamic. They're incentivized to get up close (so the Gi-level spells work well with them), and on top of being encouraged to be on the front lines dodging, parrying, and smashing enemies in the face to regain PP, they can ALSO pop the only buff skill in the game, AND heal their fellow frontline fighters. This is on TOP, of having access to ranged and melee spells, AND the Sigil Explosion spells. AND if you make Force your subclass (which just makes the most sense), you can also pull out a Rod or Talis if you're low on Restasigne and want to fight at range for a bit. They're basically like if a Wizard decided to become a Paladin.
    So, like...Forces are still the "Magical Artillery" of PSO, able to gain enough PP and extra magical damage that they can deliver fantastic damage, relatively stable DPS and frequent Elemental Stuns...But they've been simplified so much that they don't feel interesting anymore. Meanwhile, their biggest advantage (PP regen) can be slapped onto my Techter via being a Subclass.
    Forces, and Techniques in General need more love. Even if we had more weakness variety on enemies, or DOLLS who changed weaknesses when "turning red", or other things would help a LOT without needing to add new spells or active skills to Forces (although it feels SO weird to have 5 free spots on my Weapon Palette and only 2 spells per Element).

      Totally agree. It feels like Techter is the class and they split it in half to make Force. Rod is just spamming one spell until you get the mark on the enemy. Talis can't even mark them so its even more mindless. (I know you can with basic casting but then why even use talis at that point) Techter feels like it just has so much more going for it, feels like an actual class.

      You may always use this link to see what kind of augments you want on your gear:

      Or refer to my affixing guide
      ua-cam.com/video/nd7ZH_1q3xw/v-deo.html
      There is no perfect augment on your gear. It's all about what you want and need.
      I can't say for sure what to put on your gear, but as Force, look for tech damage increase.
      And if you need HP/PP or other stuff, you may look at each augment and what they give, and where to farm them.

    • @barrymak421
      @barrymak421 3 роки тому +1

      In my experience talis aoe come out much quicker, so if you are murdering a bunch of lower lvl creeps it's the way to go, but for fighting dolls, something with more hit points, or stuff with a weakness to lightning or ice the rod is the way to go IMHO. The ability to parry, and follow up with a photon bullet is a big time dps gain. The exception would be with maybe lightning. You could activate short gizonde, to start charging your big lighting hit, then deploy your talis, canceling it to reup gizonde 2 more times, hit with 1 short charge zonde, then popping your full charge gizonde/zonde before starting the process over. This would be hard to time correctly, and your mana pool would need to be impressive, but it would be the highest dps.

    • @poolemon9016
      @poolemon9016 3 роки тому

      Much prefer rod because you can get your stacks to send in a charged shot for more damage and that's basically the only gameplay outside of dodging. I feel like Talis just shoots spells faster but you're basically just spamming one spell and its way less engaging. I don't really like the wand that much but I feel like going techter wand and using spells on the side is going to end up being the most fun.

      First of all, I did put those skills into my own word, there are even things that’s not mentioned in the game, I tested them out and inform you about it such as Zonde Clad takes 10 ticks to build up the ring. Second of all, that IS the explanation of the skill and how it works, I tried to make it as straight forward as possible, if you can’t understand it you should go back and watch it again. Third of all, the footage behind the explanation are actually showing you how the skill works. You would want to pay attention to it.

    a little question, is the foursis rod is the best rod at the moment?

    • @DaeDae0415
      @DaeDae0415  3 роки тому +2

      I can't really answer that question since I am using Cras rod from PSO2, but I can give you some ideas.
      4 star weapon now in order to get it to the same level of Cras weapon or higher (I think it's possible), is to grind it to +40, unlock potential all the way to level4, and using affix capsules to get % dmg increase (that is a lot of investment btw).
      The Forsis rod has the potential to increase dmg by 24%, and reduce damage taken(I thik 50% dmg) when your HP is full.
      The Litharge rod has the potential to increase dmg by 21% and increase crit by 18% for 30s whenever you weapon action or sidestep an attack.
      It's really your personal preference, which you think will benefit you more, go for it, there's no absolute answer to which one is stronger.

    • @DaeDae0415
      @DaeDae0415  3 роки тому +1

      update, from what Acry said about the +40 4 star weapon, without affix it's I think ~4% stronger. With affix probably can make it ~10% difference.
      In my honest opinion, if you have your PSO2 gear, you might want to wait till the next patch, which is 5 star or higher rarity weapon releases.
      However if you are starting fresh on NGS or don't have good affixes on your PSO2 gear, you may consider grinding a 4 star weapon and maybe affix it.

    • @AegixDrakan
      @AegixDrakan 3 роки тому

      0_o Really? I have the opposite impression!
      PSO2 Forces had a LOT of fun spells they could use, many of which had some nifty utility (Zondeel to pull enemies away from Towers in the tower defense missions), and I always had to consider switching to different elements because most zones/dungeons had a variety of weaknesses to expoit. Maybe Forces didn't have the highest damage numbers, but there was a lot of variety.
      Now? If it's an animal, use fire. If it's a DOLLS, use Ice. I've only encountered one enemy, a boss, that's weak to lightning. It's also much safer to stay at range, which makes Gibarta and Gizonde practically useless against anything but mobs of small fry, so you're pushed to rely more on just the 3 basic single-target spells. Meaning gameplay is now mostly just "Stand away from enemies, use same attack over and over, with the upside of massive PP regen".
      I've gone from a dedicated Force main to Techter, which feels way more dynamic, AND can turn into a ranged Tech user if I subclass as Force.

Plus you can guard on rod with weapon action, pretty sure it has more frame than trying to use sidestep to .

    It's a shame none of the enemies in the release are weak to Zonde. Hopefully we'll get some enemies weak to Zonde in the new area this winter.
    Edit: Oh, the UQ boss is weak to Zonde. I did not know that. xD And yeah, I'm maining Force in NGS which I haven't done since PSO1. Couldn't do it in PSO2 because charge time was a lot longer.

      Yeah, only the two Emergency/Urgent quest bosses. They are still missing Wind, Light, and Dark elements' techniques as well.
      Hope to see them in the future update; and yes with more types of enemies, weak to different elements instead of just fire and ice.

      @@SilverHawk0987 all I can tell you is, if you think PP convert and PP recovery boost is more important than other skills on Fo skill tree, you are free to do w/e with it. It is completely up to you where you want to take some points off for those two skills.

    I plan on getting everyone to lvl 20 :)
    Too bad the game's loadout system sucks @ss; they would have been able to copy World of Warcrafts superior loadout system if they didn't lock skill reset behind a stupid IRL paywall.
