I love bringing my inner circles with Ezekiel granting that plus 1 to melee attacks. I also use Unforgiven task force and use unforgiven fury for lethal hits on their sweep profile. And as long as someone is battle shocked in your army you crit on a 5+. So when you combine everything with oath, you end up with. . . 36 attacks, 5+ crits, rerolls to hit, lethals plus sustained 2. Along with their new AP-2. They literally sweep everything off the table. Also for 1 cp you can use intractable to fallback, shoot and charge to ensure your fight first for anything that didn't die. @@mathiasschulze6148 it depends, it’s a LOT of fun to play. Mostly wounding on 2s to marines - 3s/4s on vehicles - depends on how you use the HQs but getting sustained on a unit of knights and the deep strike phase 1, you can set yourself up to sit on objectives for 2-3 turns and hopefully soak up some dmg. Everything pretty much has a 4+ FNP vs mortals at least once, more with the chaplains. Some base FNP with psychic if needed vs Tsons and grey knights. It can flex a little but it’s also a psychological FU when everything is T5 2+/4++
Thoughts on the points changes? They finall got Azrael but he needed a rest from carrying the faction this far through 10th. He's still great for what he brings. DWK is disappointing; I expected an increase but not that much. I think you'll still see them of course, but maybe not as many squads. Suddenly they are interested in getting people using Ravenwing. Meh, I still don't think what's there will result in much use (maybe the command squad). Lion? He's cheap now but a cheap middling Lion isn't what I personally wanted for that character. I'd much rather pay more for him but have him be truly terrifying. But hey, he's a popular character with a nice miniature so I'm sure people will try to make him (and Rob) work as best they can. At least the ICC emerged unscathed.
But why no ax, apothecary w fire discipline and hellblasters? Bunch of dope plasma with invul etc For Gravis combo I’d run a gravis cap in addition to have the free strat and as cp spare etc

I just hope they dont over nurf the chapter specific units. let deathwing knights and inner circle companions be good. azreal probably needs to go up 10 pts deathwing knights 10
I don’t know why we don’t see more in a circle companions with a captain and an apothecary in order to bring back all those fragile models. The other option is to take a lieutenant, but he doesn’t do much since they already have lethal hits. I don’t see benefit of the fallback shooting charge unless you’re looking to reactivate for charging. I was thinking of other characters you could place in the unit and apothecary with Lazarus came to mind considering he’s only 70 points, but his unit gets to fight on death on a 4+ and then the apothecary will bring back one destroyed model every command phase . I’ve been on a 40 K hiatus because of both of my armies either have too many nonviable detachments and I personally don’t like the current play style of my Necrons unless I’m playing the awaken dynasty because it’s the closest play style when it comes to playing old-school Necrons. I hate the lack of being able to pick a Dynasty and gaining a small bonus based on what their specialty is such as Mephrit. I also hate that the faction keeps getting constant rules changes on top of being one of the top factions when it comes to the amount of units and characters that were sent to legends, especially after I had made two recent forge world purchases. I’m still lamenting the loss of three epic heroes , why i it taken GW so long to make changes to the annihilation, legion and restricting the number of C’Tan? I’m also wondering why it’s taking them so long to print plastic night bringer and deceiver? The other general rule that bothers me is not being able to pick at least from a small list of psychic powers for characters who are able to use psychic powers . And I don’t even know where to start with my dark angels, which I’ve had zero motivation to assemble after I had made plans around building a Ravenwing list until they gutted a lot of the units leaving them only Samuel and a chaplain to take as leaders until GW realized they had the improvised And they allowed Ravenwing to keep the Ravenwing command squad, giving the champion the character keyword and making him a leader. Still doesn’t solve the problem of having a lack of Ravenwing captains to provide some CP reduction. Technically, you can take any space marine unit and put it in the company of hunters and they will gain the detachment bonus, but unfortunately five out of the six require that you target a Ravenwing unit and all 4 enhancements also require the bearer has the Ravenwing keyword. Ironically, in the dark angels supplement most of the time gaining the Ravenwing keyword ends up being a restriction, especially when it doesn’t impart any of the space, marine data sheets taken from the vanilla book, such as gaining a 5++ Which all of the unique Ravenwing units in the supplement currently possess, so that means no outriders or storm speeders, even after having lost access to a lot of bikes and land speeders would’ve thought with giving how underpowered outriders have become compared to their ninth edition data sheet, which gave them extra attacks on the charge. Also, I’m really nervous about the Ravenwing black nights that are still in their boxes wrapped in plastic because I’m afraid to open them since they are a first unit and are likely to be replaced relatively soon. The only reason they got to stay because so much was stripped from the Ravenwing Range. Even the rules for getting certain units the deathwing keyword has been implemented very clunky because they did not consider that certain characters that can gain death wing due to leading a death wing unit, which means they can’t take any of the enhancements since the keyword is given at a later state in the game. I think this is a problem for the Indominus captain with the relic shield who used to be considered somewhat of a blade guard, veteran captain because he could not lead a blade guard unit unless he took a shield in the space marine book. The data sheet has the option to take a relish shield but it also , replaces one of his weapons with a power weapon, making him closer towards being a death wing captain compared to all the other generic captains available. It’s sad There are so many cool units, but none of the dark angels detachments are close to being as good as the ones in the space, marine vanilla book, especially when we compare using our Ravenwing units in the storm lance attachment mostly because it does not require any Ravenwing keywords, which makes it a much more flexible detachment that a lot of other dark angels units will benefit from the special detachment ability Which is advance and charge. The deathwing knights would love having that up the entire battle, especially if you give one of them a death wing captain in terminator armor for the ability to re-roll charges, and since you took a captain, you’re allowed to take other certain characters as the terminator ancient which brings the Deathwing Knight unit up to a total of seven models. And my final criticism when it comes to death wing terminators is taking away there ability to mix and match assault terminators with their standard terminator unit. All they had to do was maybe change it so that every five models in the unit can pick a pair of lightning clause or a thunder hammer with shield which makes the unit a little more flexible and the sergeant is also given a power weapon. It still hurts that they got rid of the death wing command, squad, and speaking of the assault terminators where the heck are they? I suppose I could take the new terminators and simply grab the assault weapons from my prior box of deathwing terminators, which contain enough assault weapons that I should be able to field a unit of 10 assault terminators all equipped with a mix of lightning claws and hammersto. Their data sheets still exists in the new vanilla space marine book so it’s not like I’m using the legends unit and I might be able to get some mileage out of them depending on which leader assign
You don't see it cause Apothecaries can't join Bladeguard / ICC And yeah it sucks that they gutted Ravenguard. The only hope is a new Outrider box with more options (.. please at least give them a power fist and some specials! )

holy moly bro....and this is working? xD
You also have to think any term block with a shield has 20+ wounds + HQ is a lot to chew through, and anything S4 is needing to wound on 5s
@@IHADTHECAKE That's a point. I play for myself 3 Deathwing knights squats. It's hard to get them down.
That double Stormraven list is lol.
But why no ax, apothecary w fire discipline and hellblasters? Bunch of dope plasma with invul etc
For Gravis combo I’d run a gravis cap in addition to have the free strat and as cp spare etc
No Asmodai, no win
In an upcoming game ima use:
2 Apothecary
Azrael
Lazarus
Phobos Librarian
Lion
1x5 Intercessor
2x5 Deathwing Knights
1x3 Eliminators
1x5 Hellblasters
1x6 Inner Circle
1x Repulsor Ex
1x Vindicator
Wish me luck😂
Oh no. Another standard DA list. Who wouldn’t though
@@Whoknows21356 since when did Lazarus and Vindicator become standard?
@@Whoknows21356 Lmao this list isn't meta at all, cry more.
Could you do an admech list video
(I'm struggling to counter WE)
So you're struggling to counter Angron? ;-)
World Eaters on their own are a nearly unplayable dumpster fire without him.
@drunkenastarte5243
That and alot of eightbound
I also have alot of melee (rustalkers etc) which gets shredded stopping me from getting objectives
Gimme the Greater Gnarloc back, and I'll feed the Lion to it For the Greater Good. Giiiiimmmeeeeeee!!!!!
What the fuck do you mean 'John Lennon' won a GT?
John Lennon is a player on the Art of War channel / team. Yeah, that’s his actual name.
🎶imagine rolling 6's 🎶
🎶it's easy if you try 🎶
in all seriousness, John is a very smart/talented SM player
all divergent chapters win in gladius except the guys its ment for
So the newest codex with a primarch is winning? Didn't see that coming 🙄
Most of their success isn’t from their codex. The detachments aren’t all that great tbh. It’s the SM Gladius holding them up rn
DA are almost perfectly balanced near 50% WR, cry more.
Get out of my brain auspex. How'd you know if just started a new dark angels army
Just about to fall asleep man why
I just hope they dont over nurf the chapter specific units. let deathwing knights and inner circle companions be good. azreal probably needs to go up 10 pts deathwing knights 10
6 minute gang yippee!!!
You don't see it cause Apothecaries can't join Bladeguard / ICC
And yeah it sucks that they gutted Ravenguard. The only hope is a new Outrider box with more options (.. please at least give them a power fist and some specials! )
yippeee
John Lennon plays Warhammer?

I love how my army is made to be completely unplayable, because another codex get to take stuff like this. GW better fix this in the next update.
If they are doing well, GW will nerf them into mediocrity quickly.
Dark Angels absolutely slapped all through 9th tbh.
I’m still trying to figure out why the inner circle companions have an icon bearer with no rules… I bet get one point GW head designed a once per game ability or it added some kind of reroll, but then they either forgot or decided to ditch the rule shortly before they were released.
Some say that the inner circle companions were supposed to be released earlier with the lion, but apparently they weren’t ready so they stuffed in three blade guard veterans which was kind of a slap in the face
