Charity, she donated the 80,000 dollars she won on Norway’s Got Talent Angelina Jordan won Norway’s Got Talent at the age of 8 in 2014, the prize for winning was eighty thousand dollars, this money was donated to children’s charities. At age 8 her first charity performance was in Germany to raise money for heart disease. Again, at age 8 she does a telethon for Plan International Children’s Charity. Still at age 8 she performs for Norwegian Sea Rescue Society Charity. On the 12th of Dec still at age 8, she performs at Save The Child Nobel Peace Prize, 4 days later, even though she has a very bad cold, she performs for the Swedish Heroes Foundation against her doctor's orders. This is huge understatement if you can believe that. Personally my favorite stuff of hers is what she did between 10 and 12, in most cases reading the lyrics as she nails it on the 1st attempt. She has more than 250 songs to choose from and i have never seen her miss.

She is just 11 here, singing with a guitarist friend who played with her from when she was 7 (until she moved to the US and recruited Ivan Mendez as guitarist for her home-covers)... That's not her father, believe it or not her family's not musical in the least; other than appreciative of it. Her grandmother on her mum's side is a famous Iranian artist & poet and lover of classic jazz. Her grandmother is her driving inspiration. You guys really need to check out AJ's AGT performance of her version of Bohemian Rhapsody. Queen commented on their band page, on how much they loved it. After the show was over Queen gave her the copyrights to her version, allowing her to record and sell the track. Queen has never done anything like that for anyone else to this day. So many reactors have done this performance but you'll probably need to put a filter on the video and stop it 3 or 4 times for commentary so they don't block it, BUT it's worth it, trust me!
I was thinking also the same thing, that this is not Angelina’s father. The only facts I am aware of about her father is that he is from Sweden. And so with all respect, if your life stories are void of life’s experiences, than perhaps I suppose that these two guys can fill in this void with their storytelling? AJ sings the greatest songs from the greatest artists from the last 100 years, across most genres and kills them all. She even broke into a bit of rap in her performance of "Mercy" for the movie Hating Game. In the south, we just say; hi y'all. Guitarist, Egil, is a family friend and AJ's collaborator for impromptu recordings and some of her performances. There typically are not rehearsals for these recordings, they are one and done but this presumably is a rehearsal for an upcoming performance.

I have always enjoyed all genres of music, and being 75, I have experienced the best the industry has to offer, from the early 50s, to 2023, but I have never been moved emotionally in the past anywhere close to what Angelina Jordan does from 7 to 17. When I heard Celine Dion perform in a tint in Québec when she was a child, I predicted she would be the next world superstar, and the rest is history. Celine did not sign a record contract until she was in her early 20s. David Foster, who made Celine a star flew to Norway after Angelina wone NGT and tried to sign her, but her family wanted to stay in control of her future. Angelina, at 13, appeared on AGT and getting worldwide recognition signed with the largest record company in the world at age 14, Republic Records. The story is that Monty Lipman, the CEO, and known as the Star Maker, personally signed her even without meeting AJ, he was shown a video of her performance. This is huge understatement if you can believe that. Personally my favorite stuff of hers is what she did between 10 and 12, in most cases reading the lyrics as she nails it on the 1st attempt. She has more than 250 songs to choose from and i have never seen her miss.

I will say this, if you don't read many comments from listeners I can understand why because of time restraints, etc., BUT, in Angelina's case I STRONGLY suggest you take some of your valuable time and find out what's she's all about. Vocally and artistically she is at a level, even at the age you just heard her at 11-12, which is reserved for only a few (and I'm being generous). When you find out where that soulfulness is coming from and what kind of a beautiful and wonderful human being she is that, in itself will turn you on to her. She is remarkable.
Btw, did you feel a little stirring around inside you as she was singing? That was your heart reacting to the love in her voice. You head can't quite get a handle on what just happened but your heart knew within seconds what was going on.

she's 11 years old, i've never heard the song so well as a cover the voice is raw without any technical improvements which she doesn't need anyway and then these emotions she adds she is also an incredible live singer with all this technical stuff needs. She is the truth :) She does tend to sing in a lower - and richer - tone than Whitney which I actually prefer... She is just 11 here, singing with a guitarist friend who played with her from when she was 7 (until she moved to the US and recruited Ivan Mendez as guitarist for her home-covers)... She was a remarkable prodigy who is maturing into a remarkable true musical artist... I think she will go down in history as one of the greatest of all time.

The guitarist is Egil Clausen, a Norwegian professional guitarist that worked with Angelina when she was in Norway. Angelina is 11 Years old when this was recorded. The song was written and performed by Dolly Parton and later covered by Whitney Houston. Hope you guys do more Angelina. Subscribed in that hope. As a side note, Angelina studied piano, guitar, flute and violin while in school. I have seen her perform on guitar and piano.

She wrote Oslo and What Is Life by herself, she co-wrote Shield, Million Milles, 7th Hevean and Love Don't Let Me Go. Song For A, Above The Water, and We're The Best were written by others for her. The rest are covers.
And that's not her Dad. Egil startet for her playing when she was 8.5 years old, and he had accompanied her on tours, including overseas, like in South Korea. Here she was late 11 or early 12.
That's not her father, believe it or not her family's not musical in the least; other than appreciative of it. Her grandmother on her mum's side is a famous Iranian artist & poet and lover of classic jazz. Her grandmother is her driving inspiration. You guys really need to check out AJ's AGT performance of her version of Bohemian Rhapsody. Queen commented on their band page, on how much they loved it. After the show was over Queen gave her the copyrights to her version, allowing her to record and sell the track. Queen has never done anything like that for anyone else to this day. So many reactors have done this performance but you'll probably need to put a filter on the video and stop it 3 or 4 times for commentary so they don't block it, BUT it's worth it, trust me!

Angelina covers, Whitney on several her songs, Including "I have nothing at 13 ( a tribute to Whitney) and last year she did her own version (and amazing cover video)..additionally AJ cover Freddy many times, in fact there's really not a great singer she hasn't covered. Guitarist, Egil, is a family friend and AJ's collaborator for impromptu recordings and some of her performances. There typically are not rehearsals for these recordings, they are one and done but this presumably is a rehearsal for an upcoming performance.
It's always exciting to watch people discovering Angelina! You may like jumping around in time a bit. She has 160+ YT videos, and the most recent studio recordings, now that she's with Republic Records -- and still only 17 -- show how this amazing voice has developed, her range widened, the full power unleashed and perfectly controlled. She has Adele covers and Amy Winehouse covers, as well as Billie Holliday covers. Her taste in music and the singers she admires is wide ranging.

With all the gimmicks that are used in what is known as music today it is so refreshing to come across a being that does not need auto tune, lightshows, dancers, outrageous costumes, bands, or orchestras to cover their weaknesses because she has none. AJ can perform a Capella, or with one or two instruments to follow her lead and give you chills with each performance. I have always enjoyed all genres of music, and being 75, I have experienced the best the industry has to offer, from the early 50s, to 2023, but I have never been moved emotionally in the past anywhere close to what Angelina Jordan does from 7 to 17. When I heard Celine Dion perform in a tint in Québec when she was a child, I predicted she would be the next world superstar, and the rest is history. Celine did not sign a record contract until she was in her early 20s. David Foster, who made Celine a star flew to Norway after Angelina wone NGT and tried to sign her, but her family wanted to stay in control of her future. Angelina, at 13, appeared on AGT and getting worldwide recognition signed with the largest record company in the world at age 14, Republic Records. The story is that Monty Lipman, the CEO, and known as the Star Maker, personally signed her even without meeting AJ, he was shown a video of her performance. Angelina Jordan will be the next Super Nova very soon. As for being her biggest fan, e pluribus u-num.
