The scribble technique 1. Open your textbook. 2. Read through 1 to 2 sides of the book. 3. Close the book. 4. Scribble down everything that you remember. 5. Open your book and see what you forgot or get wrong. 6. Read the next 1 to 2 pages and repeat.
3:00-04:13 straight up truth bomb! Literally my source of frustration when it comes to writing notes. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and best practices Vee, truly blessed to have discovered your channel
Hey! I have end of year exams in 5 weeks but they aren’t anything special as I am in year 9! I really want to know the best revision techniques because I don’t think anything has worked so please can you do a how to use summary notes of CGP help books or revision guides video so that I can have a better idea on how I can do effective revision rather than wasting my time! Love you channel and thanks! Xxxx
Hi! I was wondering if you could tell me if my revision technique is effective? Step 1: read a page on the topic you want to revise Step 2: summarise the information on to flashcards Step 3: make questions using your flashcards. For example, if the flashcards says “rainforests are usually 20-28°” I will make a question on another piece of paper saying “what is the temperature of rainforests?” Step 4: I answer all the questions that I made without looking at my flashcards Step 5: whichever questions I get wrong, I will go over the notes that I made that question from I’m not sure if that was clear enough, but is it effective?
same like after looking at my mock grades it was a sign that I should revise more, I literally did soo bad so I hope I do better next time. I wish you luck with revising!
You are the Angel God sent to me if not I will be getting bad grades and i saw your videos on my page but was so busy , then thank God I pressed the video and i was amazed
With the amount of reading I have to do AND assignments I have to write, while working part time, using this method basically means that I'll never go outside ever again😂
I really love you ,your brain ,your voice girlllllll that cough was so pretty 😂😂😂ok ok I love u vee ...i mean i watch all your videos and just plug my ear phones just to litsen to your techniques and to tell the truth they are really helpful .. the minute u touched that cute pen i realized i wasted my ink writing notes WHAT WAS I DOING ?!!!!!
Gurl I love your video so much 💖😩😭💖...I currently on layer one studying for my GCSE mock and I just realised that I was doing this whole revision thing wrong in the past 😂 but thank you so much for your videos 😊...and keep it up cause you are truly a blessing
Loving the series! Do you also recommend making condensed notes to look at before the exam? Also doesn’t this technique only test short term memory and how could I overcome this ??
I didn't exactly find maths hard but there were definitely some parts where i struggled like hell(Trigonometry- it took me a whole year of small revision to learn the basics) but what I did was have a friend with you. Both of you sit together and literally teach each other all the parts you two find hard with a single textbook. Then do questions from the textbook (The exam style questions) and so forth until you understand how to do it and it is second nature. Also when you learn something new for maths, write your notes like you are trying to teach it to someone else because when it comes to revision you can actually understand what you have written. Therefore you can actually relearn it. Honestly, if you understand all the stuff you are learning then all you have to do is pretend you are teaching it to someone else and do exam questions. Idk about timing since that is something I struggle with and hate it :')
From your thumbnail did u have a specific book that had the scribble technique in it, if so would you able to name this book please BUT THANK YOU this helped alot♥️you’re asinine
OPEN TEXTBOOK READ 1-2 PAGES.
CLOSE BOOK
SCRIBBLE DOWN EVERYTHING THAT YOU REMEMBER
OPEN BOOK AND SEE WHAT YOU FORGOT/GOT WRONG
REPEAT
Same this is my method but I get it right and write down what I forgot 😁
active recall
The scribble technique
1. Open your textbook.
2. Read through 1 to 2 sides of the book.
3. Close the book.
4. Scribble down everything that you remember.
5. Open your book and see what you forgot or get wrong.
6. Read the next 1 to 2 pages and repeat.
I think you should know that you radiate such a positive energy. You make me happy 😊💕

when she started talking about the '10 pages of notes in a nice pretty pen' i felt like 80% of my 'revision work' that i've ever done was USELESS 😂
😂😂😂
absolutely loving this series!
Extremely helpful! Even I'm a postgraduate, I still can use your method. Thank you, gorgeous woman 😃
Very cool technique I do something similar with the practice exams that's at the end of each checkpoint, will definitely use this technique next time.
How did I not find this earlier?
Best study channel ever!

that sounds really effective tbh but i’d add to do practice papers sometimes too so you know you can apply the knowledge aswell
Raveena R. Thank you so so much!! I hope you have a beautiful week!
also being able to teach/explain the information to someone else is a good way to test yourself too! :) good luck!
I think you could do it until you're 14-16 then questions on flashcards won't be super efficient
@@itsgiuliaaaa i agree, too time consuming!
Thank you so much for this, I am currently revising my A-Levels (Y13) 😊❤️
Thanks for the great advice! :)
I'm in year 10 and I'm trying to get motivated to start revising. This is literally so helpful thanks :)

A grade saving video! 급할수록 돌아가라. (More haste less speed.) - Korean proverb
Thanks a lot vee

Thanks, i'm in year 12 and my mocks start on wednesday so I'll try this to brush up on my revision. x
Gurl I love your video so much 💖😩😭💖...I currently on layer one studying for my GCSE mock and I just realised that I was doing this whole revision thing wrong in the past 😂 but thank you so much for your videos 😊...and keep it up cause you are truly a blessing
am i the only one who is totally confused by the world map?
It’s a map of the continents the way they were arranged thousands of millions of years ago, remember tectonic plates?
What is confusing? Are you from the US?
@@irashapovalova9385 I guess what's confusing is that Africa, Europe, Asia, Oceania are all pushed up higher than they should be?
Could this be used for layer 1 of the repetition method??
Hello! Is there a way to do the scribble technique for maths? This is brilliant~
Loving the series! Do you also recommend making condensed notes to look at before the exam? Also doesn’t this technique only test short term memory and how could I overcome this ??
Where have you been❤❤😊. I needed this😍😍
So do you make the pretty notes afterwards or never?
How do you take notes in class? This would be pretty interesting☺ love your videos💖💖
hi, should you write down what you didn’t get in a different colour? :)
🙌🏻
But what you do after you identify the bits you got wrong?
Thaankss
How to get an A in maths when you find it abit hard
I didn't exactly find maths hard but there were definitely some parts where i struggled like hell(Trigonometry- it took me a whole year of small revision to learn the basics) but what I did was have a friend with you. So should you repeat on the same page or after you check which you got wrong you just move to the next page
Do flashcards actually work for a levels?
Olevel study tips please
Please also do study techniques for high school students❤
That feels like it would take really long for one whole book.
dude is this applicable for layer 1? like is it considered as ,in depth
Umm i wanna know if i study loud, is it effective?
What if I left my textbooks at school?
I'm not sure if any body else has a teacher that makes you do your notes by memory and if it's wrong you fail type of thing
Why do you say it may not be suitable for gcse?
Nice video as always! 👌
I have to ask what happened to the world map on your wall?
Do you keep scribbling until you remember everything u missed out before moving on to next page?
Sounds quite time-consuming
From your thumbnail did u have a specific book that had the scribble technique in it, if so would you able to name this book please BUT THANK YOU this helped alot♥️you’re asinine
Amazing*
My notes come from my teacher instead of my textbook and myself.....
plz help me
