    Here's what you do:
You need a good 80 days before your exams. This is for four subjects, if you have more subjects you're gonna need more days.
Thorough revision: Use textbooks to create A4 page notes (in detail)
    Subject 1 - 10 Days
    Subject 2 - 10 Days
    Subject 3 - 10 Days
    Subject 4 - 10 Days
Moderate repetition: Use notes made during 10 day period. Create smaller notes.
    Subject 1 - 5 Days
    Subject 2 - 5 Days
    Subject 3 - 5 Days
    Subject 4 - 5 Days
Brief repetition: Use notes made during 5 day period. Make small notes/ revision cards.
    Subject 1 - 2 (or 3) Days
    Subject 2 - 2 (or 3) Days
    Subject 3 - 2 (or 3) Days
    Subject 4 - 2 (or 3) Days
Next few days: reading through notes, going over brief notes. You should NOT have to use your books, just your notes.
TIP: Be strict with number of days. Do not exceed or go under.

    • @natashapriest5384
      @natashapriest5384 5 років тому +4

sumayyah Islam how do you think I should adjust it to 40 days? I already have all of my flashcards and proper notes done and sorted so my first layer doesn’t need to be too in depth since that’s already done so what do you think?

    • @sumayyah4228
      @sumayyah4228 5 років тому +2

Maybe skip the in depth and start with the moderate repetition. Maybe spend 10 days in total on all your subjects then start with the 5 day repetition. Then 2 days (brief repetition). If you have 4 subjects that’ll be 40 days.

    • @natashapriest5384

    • @sumayyah4228

Thorough revision: 10 days in total.
      Subject 1: 2 days
      Subject 2: 2 days
      Subject 3: 2 days
      Subject 4: 2 days
Spend other 2 days on a subject you’re struggling on.
      Moderate repetition:
      Subject 1: 5 days
      Subject 2: 5 days
      Subject 3: 5 days
      Subject 4: 5 days
      Brief repetition:
      Subject 1: 2 days
      Subject 2: 2 days
      Subject 3: 2 days
      Subject 4: 2 days
Extra 2 days to go over everything extremely briefly.

So I have 50 days until my first Alevel exam and for anyone thats short on time this is how I'm using this method.
I have three subjects and my first exam is on 16th (accounts) and business and economics theory on 22nd may. The economics MCQ is on 12th june.
I'm using 5 days for thorough revision of each subject. Currently I'm doing economics. So what im doing is going through the syllabus as there are 4 units. And doing 1 unit a day. That leaves me with 2 days for the lengthier unit. I will be done with the revision of all subjects by 10th April. After that i will be doing moderate revision 3 days for each subject that leads ne to 19th April. Then I've decided to do pastpapers. I'll be spending 7 days each on eco and business theory and accounts past papers (21days) that leaves me with 2 days for my first exam which I'll be using for the breif revision of my accounts exam.
Then i have a 5 day break till my 2 theory exams which I'll be using for breif revison of each subject.
Now I have 20 days till my economics MCQ which i can use to basically just solve past papers.

Just wondering how many hours you would do for each day?

    • @inaara5023
      @inaara5023 5 років тому +1

@@arnelliarmus I'm doing around 6-12 hours a day, depending on the length of the unit I'm studying. I do have difficulty focusing so i do about 1.5 hours of study with 20 min breaks.

Inara how do you have the time for 6hrs+ on a school day? I’m just curious as we don’t get study leave until the exams start! So apart from holidays it’s difficult to fit in lengthy revision sessions

I actually had a similar method in school and I have to say, it really works! I had straight As. But once I got into University (in Austria), it‘s impossible to do this, because, for most of the lectures, there are no books to go hand in hand with the subject and you can only take notes as the semester goes along. The professor then sends out their powerpoint presentations from the semester usually one week before the exam. I have no idea how to deal with it, because even though I study the notes since the start of the semester, they are usually not enough. Any tips on how to do this in only one week, for around 8-12 subjects? 😅

girl, you're an inspiration for me. i met your channel in last week, and wow. at first, my mother language is portuguese, so watch your videos without subtitles help me to focus in the language and, consequently, totally in what you're talking. study is very hard for me, mainly in the part of motivation and focus. your methody makes me think: "well, i have time. if this girl got, i can too. we are both humans lol".
that's it, vee. i'm grateful for your videos, for you be you, and share it with the world. thank u, again.

If you have less time, shorten the time needed for each layer, but keep the same ratio of layer 1:2:etc.

If you have the time and wanna really push it, do two subjects a day for ten days. That’s 8 subjects, the other two subjects that can’t be pushed in should be minor subjects to read that isn’t that challenging. You can do reading for those two in between, even when you’re having breakfast or dinner read them or watch UA-cam videos on them, something must stick.

I wanna die. I'm in one of the hardest years of high school (its called "bachillerato" in Spain, its like the last two years before the university)
I feel like i dont have time for everything! I have an exam this tuesday, one this friday (11/22/19) three the next monday (11/25/19), two the next tuesday (11/26/19), one the next wednesday (11/27/19) and one the thursday, then the november 1th i have another and the 3th another one. And all of them are so hard and long!!!! (Like +25 pages each).
I am so tired so i feel like its getting harder to study bc my head needs at least, one week without doing anything :'l. I wish i could finish this year right now... But we just started the first semester.
    Sorry for my english lol
