    Saline solution mask is my savior. I use this method every time my skin break out/ irritated, especially when i have dry patches. 10 minuets of the mask then top with my moisturizer, my skin always feel better in the morning after that.

      Doesnt saline dry out your skin Since Its salt?
      What Does your mask consists of?
      Do you wash the saline of your face after or?

    • @-sara-5658
      @-sara-5658 5 років тому

      @@maisondav1d saline masks must be washed off, leaving the solution for more than 10 minutes will start to dry the skin out but before you reach the 10 minute mark, your skin will keep on absorbing hydration from the mask.

    Last summer I was really stubborn about sticking to my usual routine and my skin was just so greasy, this year I’m sticking to a light but very hydrating routine with just a few steps and I can tell the difference it has made.

    When I had perioral dermatitis, salt water and cicaplast balm b5 was the only thing that got rid of it. I'll have to incorporate it into my routine again!

    This is so helpful for me. I live in a tropical country so it's summertime all year round. I used to layer the innisfree toner 7 times and I thought I was doing good for my skin but I actually wasn't. I thought I broke out cause of dirty sheets or pillowcases but ever since I got that toner out of my routine and I started using the klairs unscented toner I stopped having breakouts and ny skin still isn't perfect but it's really good texture wise. I still need to get rid of the hyperpigmentation but that's it. I used to have like 9 steps in the morning and night. Now I just have 4 in the morning and 5 at night. I also use the centella toner from cosrx to calm down my skin and it's working wonders.

    Totally agree. Mineral makeup clogs pores less! Even when I broke out like crazy - I felt that putting translucent powder on and spot concealing pimples looked way better in humid/hot conditions than a whole face of foundation!

    You have literally been my life savior, because I always thought I had dry, sensitive& acne prone skin, but I went to a dermatologist and he told me I had dehydrated skin- I was so lost, cuz I did watch your vid about dehydrated skin and did the pinch test and thought no (my doc said I was goddamn 18- my skin should be youthful enough to spring back lol), but yeah.. here I was lost, thanks to your channel I have a vague idea on what to do and will continue to watch your videos. Thank you, seriously- THANKS!

    WOW the saline solution trick actually works! i just tried and my skin looks instantly less red and more calm. it's not magic, my breakouts are still there, but at least they're not as inflamed as they would be if i didn't do the trick

  • @hanamiya8008
    @hanamiya8008 6 років тому +13

    I never seen youtuber saying about saline solution for this!!
    I've been doing it quite long, but i don't store the Physiologic NaCl in the fridge, and I use a gauze rather than cotton pad. I know... I look like someone who doing a wound care.... but It feels comfortable and sooth the skin without stressing out the skin.
    And yes! Don't be greedy and place it too long( for me around 7 minutes is enough) place it for too long indeed make your skin more dry.
    Thank you for sharing this! I'm so glad that someone could share something like this in a super informative way💪

    I remember when I chose benton aloe vera gel three years ago to restart my skincare routine (after I stopped using all the doctor's prescription products and got the worst breakout ever 😂) By only using it, a few months later, I got the good result 👍 It really helped my skin barrier to balance the oil production, so I got less oily, less acne, and so many less skin problems (with changed some factors too like eating habit etc)

    Another korean dermatologist on youtube adviced one client of her with a damaged skin barrier/dehydration to make a mask serum of saline + jojoba oil since the wax esters of the jojoba oil will help rebuild the lipids of our skin and the saline will help with the penetration.
    Her recipe: 100ml bottle = 3grams of joboba oil and the rest saline.
    50ml bottle just half that.

    What about skincare products that heat up the skin? Are those damaging? Recently I was interested in a certain firming mask for my mom, and it was mentioned that it would cause a heated feeling on the skin. I didn’t see anything wrong with that until now. Your thoughts?

    • @LitcheTheArsm
      @LitcheTheArsm 6 років тому +5

      Karla Fuentes I would assume it cause a heated feeling because it stimulates blood flow to the surface? If so it should be fine. I'd look up the exact ingredients and Google each one seperatly to check for bad ingredients and also check reviews!

    • @sebastianlugo5781
      @sebastianlugo5781 6 років тому +49

      Sadly no. There are ingredients that have very mild whitening properties for discoloured skin, but tans are melanin. It's part of your skin rather than a layer on top, so all you can do is wait patiently and continue to take care of your skin.

    • @rheaultm33
      @rheaultm33 6 років тому +19

      Just exfoliate your skin a few times a week. That'll increase the rate of the tan disappearing. I'd recommend using a chemical exfoliant because they are less irritating

      I've had that, all over my forehead, but I have combination skin.
      I tried Nizoral for about 3 weeks, cause I thought I had fungal acne, but it didn't really work for me, so I guess I didn't.
      Then I tried benzoyl peroxide 5%, cause I heard it was really effective to treat stubburn acne like mine, and my forehead cleaned in about a week.
      You nedd to be carefull with it cause it's strong and can be sensitizing, but if you decied to try and it work for you, don't use pore clogging skincare products, cause your acne can came back!

    또 실례지만 무기자차 출시는 계획이 없으신지도 궁금해요...ㅎㅎ

    For me, I have eczema and very thin sensitive -acne prone skin :(. Because of this, my neck and face is much darker than my body. I'd like to know how to lighten my face and neck and to help my skin get used to not always wearing makeup. It's very hard. My skin is so sensitive where I have to cover it up. Just like a raindrop hitting my face gives me a bad pimple where it enlarged and burns itself. ;-;

    • @LiahYoo
      @LiahYoo  6 років тому +1

      Are you seeing a dermatologist for this? It may not be the best idea trying different products or methods if you have eczema skin..! Moisturizing is the way to go while eating healthy

    • @audweebg96
      @audweebg96 6 років тому

      Liah Yoo I did but sadly my derma passed away a long time ago. He recommended me using physiogel and cetaphil as my cleanser but it burns my skin so I stopped using it. And I am moisturizing and eating healthy too ! I'm planning on going to a derma again once I have the money to.. it's kinda hard since my immune is very sensitive :/ like I have a lot of food allergies and being allergic to an antibiotic and I can't stay in the sun coz I'll get a sunburn mixed with my eczema and allergies 😭
      And omg you replied! Haha 😍😊 I love you! And your channel! 💕

      froncifresh My armpits literally smell like a corpse when I work out 💀 I don't want to wear deodorants because ALL the ones they sell here have aluminum and that actually makes matters worse according to the articles.

      @sydneypineapples2384 6 років тому

      LyRi I use Toms original non-scented deodorant. No aluminum or other harmful ingredients, also no fragrance (my skin is very sensitive). It keeps my armpits smelling like nothing. Keep in mind I’m a teenager going through puberty and play high school soccer.

    SUNSCREEN Q: Is the chemical sunscreen completely absorbed after 10-15 minutes, even if the oil residue is still present?
    I know with mineral the layer always sits on top, so applying makeup must be done carefully... But is this also the case with chemical???
    I'm always nervous I'm smearing or wiping off my sunscreen with makeup. Granted, I don't wear much, maybe primer on pore-y areas, and a light powder for oil control.
    ** Also, that color dress is very pretty on you 😊

    • @LiahYoo
      @LiahYoo  6 років тому +1

      It depends on the product but by 15 minutes most sunscreens would be set (not absorbed. A lot of chemical ones sit on top of the skin too). Your sunscreen to makeup routine sounds pretty solid tho!
