Great origin story. Great to see you guys still have that passion and creativity. Also great to hear from Dan and Neil, wonder what would have been if Dan stayed on? Saw a video with Greg Walls saying he got ripped off songwriting credits, I guess there’s a reason for not including him in the series😂😂 Keep on doing what you guys do and show these young ‘uns how it’s done. God blessfrom Fiji 🇫🇯🤘👍😎🤙👊
Lilker's a legend, good to see Dan Spitz & Neil Turbin here too despite their differences. No mention of Greg D'Angelo or Greg Walls but the rest is history 🤘
57 yrs young, this is in my wheelhouse! Grew up on Bay area Thrash being from Oregon. But i remember the first time i heard Fist-full of Metal. I was like Yessss! Been an Anthrax, Overkill fan ever since as far my east coast thrash goes
Met Dan Lilker in maybe ‘89 at a Nuclear Assault gig at Newport Centre (Wales). He came out the stage door after the show and spent time chatting to us and he signed my t shirt (which happened to be an Anthrax shirt). He was super cool and really nice to us, bearing in mind we were 15yo kids and probably over-excited pains in the ass! He seemed like 7ft tall. And that NA gig is still the loudest, maddest most violent gig I’ve ever been to. Respect Dan 🤟🏻
My oldest brother played me Fast as a Shark on LP in the family basement when I was just little. Forty years later, I’m writing, recording and playing metal🤘
I saw you live for the Bring the Noise and Sound of White Noise tours. Both shows were some of the best concerts I have ever been to. Most played Anthrax album is Attack of the Killer B's.
Actually was scrolling to see if anyone else noticed before posting. There’s an Anthrax Hillrock Special Blend. Haven’t had it yet but have had Hillrock’s Solera Aged Bourbon and it’s one of my favorites. Scott has some sort of endorsement deal with them.
Motor head was a different band to the British, they could tour with status quo and the fans would enjoy it, and then they would have anthrax open for them, awesome.
@@abominog888 I know - I follow his Facebook page, and sometimes he posts videos of his band playing gigs in LA or of himself jamming at clubs in the area with various musicians. The festival we played with his band was at Lake Irvine in Orange County and the friend of mine who put it on lives in Hollywood. He's lived in LA for a long time.
I’ve been into this band since the 6th grade ..met and or seen them live too many times to count .. seeing this is like Christmas for me .. and for other metal heads too I imagine.. thank you for this and for all the music and art that you have created .. 🤘🏼☠️🤘🏼
Dan liker! I still have a pic of him and me and Anthony with a roadie for Phantasm katon de Pena! Is when I hung out with them for 3 day's up in Buena Park Cali,as nuclear assualt stayed at a house of the guitarist of Phantasm! 1986!! Dan liker paid for my food at the mall! He is the best!! Richard madonia hollering from boomer North Carolina
I meant I have a pic of Dan liker and Anthony and me along with a roadie for Phantasm, katon de Pena's other band of hirax! Richard madonia up in boomer North Carolina
I can never, EVER get enough of thrash origin stories.

The beginning of a long and cool story about the N.O.T. respect !!!!!!
Haha its kinda official now, Fast As A Shark kicked off the thrash era.
Greatest band of all time! Been a fan from day one. Anthrax still has great songs even as Megadeth and Metallica have fizzled out.
Hail lilker 😈
Have Fistful of Metal on cassette somewhere in my garage...🤔
I remember my first anthrax album, 12 inch lp state of euphoria, I was 10,changed my life and made me into a drummer.
Kick ass
Amazing record! 🤘🏾

Damn, Neil Turbin looks great!
My band played a festival that his band Deathriders headlined back in 2007 and he sounded killer. Not sure about now, but I'm bet he still kicks ass.
He jams out at a studio in Los Angeles, I see him every now and again. I've met him once he's a cool dude.
