Everything north of Highway 18 in Rock Valley has been evacuated. My youngest brother lives there.
A couple days ago Here in Wisconsin we been getting what I call Angry rain. Gusts of 45 mph winds blowing sheets of rain unto the house. Sounds like a hurricane at times. That kind of rain lasted all day Thursday last week. We been having small rain spells since.
Any flooding in Gays Mills Wis?

Yes, but Rock Valley isn't on the Big Sioux. Generally, you are right, but residents here should be more worried about the Rock River than the Big Sioux. Rock County MN declared a state of emergency yesterday because half their roads were underwater, Lyon and Sioux County are the next place this water will end up.
I sure hope and pray that this nice town is not flooded.
