- Arrow sadly came to an end 2 weeks ago so this is a compilation of every time Oliver said goodbye to someone in Season 8 of Arrow. I hope you guys enjoy and I'll be posting more Arrow clips in the future.

I was thinking of adding him, but his goodbye would've made it if Oliver didn't see him again in part 3 of the crossover. I was showing clips of him saying goodbye to people that he does not get to see again.

I mean they did kind of have a good last talk
He did say goodbye, but he saw Oliver later in the crossover again(part 3). Slade Wilson never got to say goodbye though, that makes me sad for real. Imagine Slade saying "Goodbye Kid"

This entire season all of Oliver darkness and pain just dissapeared and he's just nice

I HAVE EVERY ARROW SEASON ON DVD but in season 8
you barely see Olivers darkness like its not even there
@@nightvigilante7767 not true his darkness is very much there but he realized his time is coming to an end and needed to say his goodbyes and spend time with everyone. Not sure what you're on about tbh. Oliver's whole arc was working through his pain and ptsd while trying to evolve I to a better, more emotionally healthy person. Again, I don't think you actually watched the show or else you would know this.
when Oliver was saying goodbye to Quentin, I really wanted to them to hug.
Quentin had a really good character development, and he's one of my favorite characters

Not having Slade in the final season was a mistake. Not sure why he couldn't be in it but it would have been nice to have seen him on the island episode just before the Crisis began. The dude was there in the beginning.
Yeah we needed him it's so sad they couldn't get him or Walter back I felt it was important.
Because Batfleck's film was still gonna get made at the time, that's why they didn't finish the Deathstroke find his Son Joe arc back in Season 6. WB is bitchy about licensing

@@joaquinbarboza3223 Basically, any character that has a movie that is either popular, well received, or makes a bunch of money is off limits to the TV shows. At this point, as someone else mentioned, the solo Batfleck movie with Slade as the main villain was still going to be made, and the Slade that showed up in the after credits scene in the Joss Whedon Justice League was very popular with fans, so WB restricted him back to movie only.
@@Protoss450 Well at least hopefully as of 2023, WB and James Gunn will allow the characters to be in both movie and tv back and forth since they wanted to tell a single DC Universe in both mediums.
If I was in Oliver's shoes saying goodbye to Quentin I'd give him a hug and cry
In the episode just before what we saw here, Quentin finally realized what Oliver needed to learn and basically gave himself up to die in the loop scenario. Oliver was pouring out BUCKETS 😭😭😭 because he realized it too and it was incredibly sad 😔

I miss Arrow. Finished last season like two months ago. Really kept me occupied throughout covid, and is the first TV show I ever finished. 😔♥
I wish we saw Slade one more time since all we saw of him was in a deleted scene reused in Season 8
I wanted him to be in the back in the distance at the funeral. Just nodding and saying "you did good kid"
Sucks that after everything he's done he didn't get a happy ending

I wonder if the Monitor created everything starting from the gambit going down and everything that followed. If Oliver never went through the darkness thw muliverse wouldn't have been possible
That’s a good theory. I like to think the monitor didn’t do it because in the big honing of elworlds he didn’t believe in earth 1 he just tested a bunch of tendon universes. And earth 1 just past the test

I always thought of Oliver and Barry is Tony stark and Peter Parker of dcu..
Ironically, it does seem more father son in the arrow verse but I guess in comics and DCAMU, Oliver n Barry are more like brothers like Thor & Loki without the initial betrayal and backstabbing lol.

All of it is just pure emotion. Despite many faults in berlantis arrowverse, you really feel for a lot of these characters. I am not hyped saying bye to Barry

He does day good bye when he does the first time as a human not the Spector he tells her to keep him in his heart and to remember to to find her mother and William to tell them the same

They really did a perfect job tying up story lines in this season
