It's this really soaring baroque classical stuff, mournful and melancholic, reaching for an elegance and beauty long since shattered, scarred, disfigured. Sadness, emptiness, the only thing left is the struggle for survival in a winter without end. Angels weeping, devils crawling from the burning pit towards bloody salvation. Humanity in the middle, at once derided and devoured by beings infinitely more powerful and yet never able to understand the willingness of Sanctuary's inhabitants to just keep persisting. Evocative stuff. A timeless addition to the music of Diablo, in my view.

I cannot wait for this game to come out, I had a ton of fun playing the open beta even though I only got to play on Sunday evening. Wish I had gotten to start when it went live!
I'm really hoping the game has its own "tristram theme" Diablo 2 and 3 both had something similar to the town theme with acoustic guitars, need that back somewhere in the game hopefully
@@Ceburekas I know the location of Tristram isn't a town you can visit in D4 (other than that weird portal you go through in the story) but they could have a Tristram analog somewhere in the world that would fit well with acoustic guitars
This awesome song sounds so.. dark and sad.. This place doesn't feel like a home of shelter in the game. More like it's doomed and lost. I felt like there will be more to the church of light. The way they treat people. Their strict belief. The way how Inarius discarded you.. Wouldn't be surprised if there were a few plot twists lateron.
Lilith is much worse, sick and disgusting what she's doing to the townsfolk, the player is like in the middle of this conflict and the happy ending would be for humanity to finally live without hell and heaven influence, just alone and carving their own path. But I'm team Inarius and I hope he or the player can freaking destroy Lilith once and for all.
@@juanfernandorojas3194 I bet that in this game Blizzard will pull their classic plot twist like they always do in their games. There was so many hints about how Inarius just chases his own glory and had even made a prophecy that wasn't about him part of the Church of Light's agenda and inserted himself into the prophecy.
We need to remember something about the angels and demons of Diablo universe. They are prisoners of their own nature. The angels to order and demons to chaos. Malthael and Itherael knew this, they can't choose and they shouldn't, because in the end they will unconsciously pursue their natures and try to enforce them. Lilith tries to care for her children, humanity, but tragicly her demonic nature influences them in the worst possible way, "pursue your own desires" or as she said, "embrace your sins". Also, her "caring" is actually selfish, because she wants to use them in attemps to end the eternal conflict, to win. Inarius is a more severe case. At the beginning he choose to weaken humanity to prevent the discovery of sanctuary, but he also did it because his nature commanded him to preserve "order", because humanity is chaotic. Now, he is more desperate to reach this state of "order" because of his traumas, forcing him to use humanity as a means to return to the past, to the heavens. He just wants to forget and return to his glory days. The lore of Diablo is beautifly deep when you analize it in more detail, I love it.
