To me it sounded like children chanting, which made it epically demonic.

They actually managed to change it from a generic trash music to memorable epic ost with flavor. I am very impressed. Music is 50% of any medium.

@@1ButtonDash Oh absolutely, there's a lot of great tracks, aside from Ashava and Kyovashad (wich are both beautiful in their respective regards) there's also the Yelesna's one, the ambient music from the various areas of fractured peaks has quite a good amount of variations, and they're all very nice

This music had me captivated the whole damn fight. Pure intensity trying to stay alive and beat the timer during the server slam with this pounding through my ears was an experience to remember.
Music just lures you into combat mode even when you are not in battle, you want to return to it as soon as possible. I'm so happy sound is not silent when you are outside of close battle.. I would be doomed then :D
This theme made the whole fight feel so epic!! Specifically when it 3:18 starts

So fucking good. The chanting in the back at 5:20 makes it really intense. You definitely feel the weight and hopelessness of fighting against such a creature.

(Small spoiler) Fighting this boss near the end of the main campaign really brought back the memories of this event. Truly an amazing fight.

The D4 campaign was SO good especially Donan's part. Will never forget Donan, Lothar and Neyrelle and this fight in particular.
I think that i defeat her just because of this song during fight. It just make me play better :D Its just so good.

when i first fought ashava, the ost got me so pumped up that after i fought it, i went and found the ost, and sat there for like 5 hours listening none stop as i proceeded to get so pumped up that i made a demon god for my books.
Damn I cannot give this track enough praise. It's pure genius.

I beat her on my 3rd try with randoms it was so hype with that last part of the song and we had minutes to spare I was like 'hell yea gimme my trophy'🏆 😊
Man I didn't have enough time to beat Ashava during Server Slam, but with the new music I did have an amazing time during the fight.
Should have done it on tier 1 it was a joke. All you needed was a group of lvl 20s with some random rares. For t2 it was a bit harder, but 2-3 hours of grinding + finding a decent group was enough there too. The music is on point and i got chills during the fight though.
@@Shipdacheese I got to 1/4 health... then pulled a dumbass move of teleporting to town to repair my broken items. Came back through portal and the whole area was empty T_T............................................... T_T
@@Ktranphoto Oh i did that too in the first beta :) Should have kept teleporting till you found another group.

this track fits right into Diablo1's theme. There hasn't been any Diablo track since obviously Diablo2's epic soundtrack which was THIS great ... God damn this time around Blizzard seems to make everything right. Diablo deserves no less ...

come here to listen the bgm because i no longer can listen it in the game. They should make the WB extremely tank, increase the damage and reduce the time to 10min so that it can be more challenging for everyone.

*My fastest run was 2min 17s W1 with some maxed out heavy hitters backing out and rejoining, and 4 random lv20s. They'll never be a way to announce any type of WR but we were screaming in disc lol*

I think it will have, Blizzard spent a lot of time into this game i would be surprised if there would be only handful of OST's for world bosses and regular boses.
They didn't. each world boss has its own theme. I would know because whilst fighting wandering death for the 700th time I don't hear the "oooo ahhh eeee ayyy" chanting that happens during ashava's theme

From a lot of comments, I'm glad I didn't go near Ashava during the first two betas. It would have ruined my expectations for the game's OST, specially after Kyovashad and Frozen Peaks OSTs were so good. Whatever it was before, I'm glad it's this one now. It's incredible, way up there.

Got the last Ashava kill for the server slam with 10% durability left. Whew~ [Used to sorc but rogue single-target dps kinda hits different)

@@zechs0078 She's fun. :3 I used caltrops/poison and specced into vulnerability. The entropy was great for crowd-clearing, switched to poison for the boss. I'll go sorc for my first playthrough for farming but rogue will always have a special place.

@@smokeynz44 the first issue was people not knowing the mechs. Then it was people being too under levelled and not having got any Lilith shrines. I guess the real objective is to do as much as possible to make your stats as near to a level 25+ Lilith shrines. Legendarys and mechanics

I muted most of the sound in the first beta because there was no soundtrack. I thought the whole game was like that. I didn't realize they added music to the boss fights in the most recent one.

Love the design, the boss is not too hard but also not too easy judging by how many people kept dying over and over, dps check might be bit too high for smaller groups/ungeared people/people with lame builds but you can survive whole fight without dying with a bit of luck. Tips for next month: 1. stay under the boss (below torso/legs, cant get bitten there) 2. only run away when the boss is about to drag the blades through the ice, just run to the flank of the boss 3. when boss jumps away is the most tricky part because you want to get below it asap but you don't want to get near its head since the bite will pretty much one-shot you unless extremely tanky or if you're on lowest difficulty, mobility helps tho it is not needed 4) get some poison resistance, the poison clouds on ground are the only thing that you shouldnt bother with dodging, they deal moderate/low damage, just get that emerald and/or poison resistance potion, some shields/self heals are also good but again not needed 5) some classes like necro and sorc can just ignore the dot from the large aoe attacks even if they get hit - just use your skill with temporary immunity to damage, tho they should still avoid aoe so they can keep it when they actually screw up, not when they are lazy lol. Hope that helps in case someone won't know that by 06.06
