Wish i knew this i didnt speedrun but i just beat him legit and it was so hard
Well GG anyway bud.
During our fight with him the noise attracted a bunch of tar blobs. Being slowed and taking extra fire damage due to the tarred status effect sucked so bad. We had to massacre all the blobs then continue the fight. He’s a tough fight.
AAAAAAAAAH ... i dunno how many skulls sign around his alter .. i died like 8,9 times 😂

Wish I knew this 10 deaths ago. I beat him using frost arrows, meads(health, stamina, fire resist), and root armor. The padded armor slowed me down and melee is a good way to die a lot.

When i was killing yagluth I died when yagluth died because i was too near when he exploded🥲
Does this still work? I have tried this twice now and his belly never clips through the floor.
yea belly doesnt clip through the floor, but he will still die in 20-30 minutes from just the fire if you're willing to just sit there repairing the bonfire the whole time.

Yes it does, I just did it this week. A key to this trick is though that you can't have any player-built structures (aside from the flooring) visible to yagluth from above ground. No portals, workbenches, etc., otherwise he will do his meteor attack and destroy the floor. Hope this helps.
