They rightly get a lot of criticism when they don’t act how they should, or when they break the laws they enforce without consequences, or when their priorities are so off that criminals are running around doing whatever they want whilst average joe is given fine after fine, and police are focused on civil matters. Don’t act like because they followed some idiot in a diesel golf for a bit that it’s wonderful police work, and solves everything.
He wouldn't have cared if he hit a child to get away. These people are the lowlifes of society. We don't need people that don't care if they harm children or not.

I did wonder about having the BT van stop in lane when there is a car coming toward them at 90mph and they were planning to sting it. Not the best choice in my opinion. Imagine if the red golf lost control? Other than that it was all spot on.
This was the first UK chase I've seen, viewed hundreds of US chases. It was very professional, amazingly calm. He sounded like a WRC copilot, lol. Not a fan of your speech police, but this was great.
because every now and then they shoot aspiring architects and footballers who just happen to be driving stolen cars at high speed, who thought their mates were just going to the shops in balaclavas with sawn offs to buy some Magnums, and the nasty old police frightened them when they put the sirens on and they panicked ! 🤔
Love to see videos of our police being so calm while in high pressure situations. Watching American police videos where sometimes they get so wound up they're screaming into the radio which can't be of any use whatsoever until it's repeated, just makes you realise how much better trained British police are.
US police are the biggest risk of violent death to young American men. Most US police homicides are not found to be justified by external groups like the FBI. 99.9% are never charged because DAs and police forces find they did nothing that is wrong, or likely to result in a conviction.

He could esily have wiped out an entire family yet will likely just get his ban extended. All a driving ban means to people like this is they no longer have to pay insurance. It doesn't stop them.

That's how you deploy a stinger. 1. A covert deployment location. 2. A perfectly timed deployment, not too early, not too late. 3. A precisely accurate deployment, right where it needed to be when it needed to be with no chance of the bandit car being able to evade it. 4. A decent enough retraction despite challenging circumstances with the unfortunate innocent car getting in the way.
If this was the US there would be a dozen cruisers trying to PIT-turn him Three news helicopters getting in the way of the police chopper And when they finally stopped, they'd be emptying their clips through the back window of the Golf 😂
Assume that the white BMW 2 door also got stung when the Red Golf did. What happens to the innocent civilian in this instance? Do the police sort out repair on that persons tyres??
I think the BMW managed to miss it, as the copper managed to drop it in lane II - Excellent work all round (including the BMW driver 👍- although they didn't use their indicators to advise of pulling over🤣🤣🤣🤣)

The UK uses both metric and Imperial measures. For for example speeds are measured in mph, altitudes in feet, but temperature in centigrade.
