  • Putting on L2 matches is hard work! I was pretty exhausted from multiple days spent at the range for setup and proofing and was definitely not moving my best, physically or mentally, by my 4th day on the range for the staff match. Even though I didn't have the match I know I'm capable of I still managed my first clean match in a long time and I was pleased with how I performed in the context of my fatigue and lack of shooting prep going into it.
Most of all I am very pleased with how smoothly the match ran! I was the CRO for stage 5 in the main match and designed stages 4 & 6. Setup was incredibly draining but we have an awesome MD and it was very exciting to watch it all come together and run well.

Your timing on stage 2 with the drop turner and swinger was about as good as anyone could get.

Yes, they are my only Open guns; the 2011 in my last video was a friend's backup

Sick dude! Your videos are making me want to build a czechmate and shoot open again. Nice shooting, will you be at area 3?

No, I don't currently have any more majors on my calendar for the year.

Watching your match when using the 2011 and watching this. I'm not noticing much difference in the looks of how the guns recoiling and your splits. Your thoughts?

They do look pretty similar in the videos, but when I shot them side by side really focusing on my grip the Nevermiss gun was definitely better, and that was with 0 previous time on the gun and not used to the ergonomics. I also think I had a very good grip day for WA State, in general the Czechmate is not forgiving of a loose grip but it felt very under control for the match.

What size dot are you running please? I need to decide between a 3MOA or a 6 MOA on my Czechmate. Thank you.

I run 3MOA Romeo3XLs. It's personal preference and you should try a few different sizes and decide. I like the option to turn the dot down so I can have a nice precise aiming point for longer range targets or turn the dot up until it starts to bloom for close range hoser stages.
