The song that got me into Queen 32 years ago as an 8 year old! My mum got the Innuendo album and this is the song that grabbed me, what 8 year kid isn't gonna like singing Hopp diddy diddy, hoop diddy do! lol. Been a massive fan ever since
Hey Rory! I LOVE THIS MUSIC VIDEO… You can see how close the guys have become and how much fun they’re having just being together! (Even tho you can see how thin Freddie has gotten.)
Great reaction, Rory, thank you! They look like they are having a lot of fun but I believe Freddie was in a lot of pain on this shoot. There is a behind-the-scenes shot of Freddie at the end of this song in his yellow sweatshirt where he looks like he' in tears. It's heartbreaking.
Queen can do it all, so much talent on that stage. I would have loved to have been at one of their concerts when Freddie was alive. Love you Queen 💕🎹💚🎤💜🎸.
Can’t stop smiling when I hear/watch HEADLONG ! And I also have to stop myself from tearing up bc Freddie is very sick here and all four of the guys know it and No Way are they not going to give their Best ! Freddie at the end of his life sounded even better … go figure… no way to explain it. Freddie killed it until he couldn’t get out of bed any longer and he looks beautiful to me but I’m with you Rory…… My favorite Freddie and Queen the band is early Queen … 70’s Queen !! I will never get tired of it
I can always count on your Chanel for my Queen. ❤❤❤ white Queen, One Vision.Back Chat..Open Window, anything from Freddie ,he's my boy or anything Queen...❤❤❤❤thanks...Freddie Forever!!!!
One of their last videos. Freddie was very sick by this point, although it doesn"t shows that much. Anyways, fun song, great reaction, you and Freddie made my day. Cheers !
I don't know what it is but I often seem to find myself catching a fixed glance from John toward Freddie that seems to encapsulate both genuine admiration and love. Happens here too. Roger and Brian as well, but it becomes more poignant given John's departure. Brian & Roger are still in the public eye, reflecting on Queen. For those later songs with videos only, it's almost as though instinctively all recognized the moment as more than what it appeared to be. I am glad - makes for some tender moments captured.
Fun song and video. Brian wrote this song for his solo album Back To The Light, but when he heard Freddie sing it, he decided to let it to be a Queen song.
This is when the boys surrounded themselves around Freddie to protect him from the press and everyone . They recorded this in Montreux, Switzerland where they owned the studio .He was extremely sick at this point and there were 200 paparazzi surrounding his home in England that’s why they had to go to Montreux. This is where most of us Queenies go to Celebrate his birthday on September 5 where his statue is.
Great choice! Yes, this is a really awesome and fun track from Queen's last album before Freddie's death. Freddie recorded some of his best vocals at this time.
“Hoop Diddy Diddy, Hoop Diddy Doo” .. Headlong is such a fun song!! Handsome Freddie donning his yellow sweat shirt (Freddie’s favorite color) 😃 I really love Brian’s guitar work here! Thanks for the reaction! How about SEE WHAT A FOOL I’VE BEEN ?
This is actually a Brian May song he made for a solo album and he liked the way Freddie performed it so Queen recorded it. There's also a video of Brian performing it himself.
I knew you'd enjoy this one Rory:) Thanks for such a brilliant reaction as always....you're the best reactor on UA-cam by far! More great stuff to come. As far as Freddie's appearance, he grew a beard to try to disguise the Kaposi's Sarcomas that were on his face - tumours caused by AIDS😢
I never seen this video before its rocken!! Awesome video all having a good time! So in the comments this is right before Freddie died, its so sad, Freddie was the greatest champion!! Awesome reaction Rory and thank you Annie for this awesome request!! 😊💓🤘✌️
There are strings on that guitar, just a few pauses!))) Innuendo and Queen 2 are my №1 favorite albums! Great track! I wonder when they will make hd videos from this album....
I think that when Freddie quit smoking, he recovered that freshness in his voice from the first years, which can even be seen on the album The Miracle. 😊
He had not quit smoking when this track was recorded. His voice lost power, and he had to sing in a more lighter mixed voice that is why his voice sounded lighter.
@@ZENOBlAmusic You may be right about his voice sounded lighter; however, Freddie quit smoking in 1989 by medical prescription. But if "Headlong" started recording in March 1989 using Brian's lead vocals and finished recording in November 1990 with Freddie's vocals, I think it help that Freddie quit smoking to his voice sounded fresher too.
"Soup in the laundry bag" . . .Freddie's syllables feed the rhythm AND it's experienced cause Freddie, not so energetic, at times eats his meal in bed. There's even a pic online of him with his soup bowl eating and the cats there on the quilt with him. Happy your patron introduced this ... loved the reaction. Thanks.
Yeah, Freddie was very sick by this stage, like in I'm Going Slightly Mad. Apparently he was in a lot of pain for the Slightly Mad video, but the show must go on....
This is one of their later videos, near the end of Freddie's life. It seems his voice got more clearer, maybe because he had quit smoking and drinking. Thank you, Annie for this great request.
Yeah Freddie is very thin and unshaven to cover his Karposi tumors but he is having so much fun and relaxing mostly in his favorite yellow sweatsuit. They are protecting him and have become very close. Decided to all songs be Queen not individual composer.
That was one of the last videos Freddie did. He was pretty sick at this point. It was reported that his voice kept getting better the sicker he got. The last album he did with Queen, Innuendo, will show you how amazing his voice was even though he couldn’t even hardly stand up. Brian said he had to lean on the mixing desk with his microphone. I had to laugh when you said that you have done nearly 200 songs. Guess what? You are about HALFWAY done!!! They have nearly 400!! Please add Breakthrough, The Show Must Go On and Innuendo to your list. Headlong was a great fun video. Brian said the last couple albums were the most fun they ever had. They were very close protecting Freddie from the press and gossip as he started really looking ill. A Winters Tale is a great tune. It’s the last song Freddie wrote. He was resting in Switzerland at their studio and looking out the window and got the inspiration.
This is Queen in 1990. The band must know how ill Freddie is by this time. But he wants to make music as long as he can. his was a time when the band "closed ranks" and protected him from the media. Brian said Freddie never complained about his situation. He said this was strangely, a happy time for the band and they became very close. Headlong was written by Brian, and it has been suggested that it was about his relationship with Anita Dobson, who he later married. .
@Rory_Reacts --you are ready for Freddie and Queen's 'Breakthrough'! Amazing video and lyrics, Rory! React to this before heading onto 'Innuendo', please?
Long live Queen.

Another great track showing their heavier side❤ and having fun.

I saw Freddie three times ! 😁

Hoop diddy diddy, hoop diddy do
Brilliant reaction Rory think you would also like Breakthru x
Last official colour video of Freddie, the shots of him in the Blue were November 1990 & the yellow performance part was December 1990
Yeah awesome Freddie c'mon 🎸🎤 amazing Queen We'll have always in memory 😘 Nala 👍👌thank you Rory
One of their last videos. Freddie was very sick by this point, although it doesn"t shows that much. Anyways, fun song, great reaction, you and Freddie made my day. Cheers !
Nice to see John looking happy and enjoying himself! It’s his birthday next week!

Also...Freddie & Michael J. "There Must be More to Life than This " ?

The video was shot one year before Freddie passed, so it wasn't right before he died.

As a patreon memeber I'm just waiting for you to finish going through the rest of the Queen albums!

What a great band❤❤❤❤, what a great song! Freddie is great although he is ill at this time!

As a band Queen have about 200 songs not 400 .If you count their solo stuff it could be more than 300 songs
Freddie's voice grew better even if he was sick because he had stopped smoking, alcohol and the excessive partying.
