Every murderer was a harmless child once. Why does the family always talk about how great they were as a kid,? Soon as she got old and big enough to make make choices look what she did. Her childhood is not on trial.

Death penalty is actually rather expensive since we don't allow the use of firing squads or hangings anymore. Also from personal experience, being incarcerated sucks. I'd much rather be dead than spend 50 years in prison, literally having nothing to look forward too. Sure you'll get a TV, books, to speak with family and maybe see them here & there but the torment of knowing life is going on without you and you're missing out on joyous moments you can't ever experience. She will literally see CO's get hired and retired before she gets out, Her parents will most likely die while she's in there and she won't be able to say goodbye or attend their funerals knowing they died feeling like failures because of her.
