A simple hack for the glass tray in the microwave is to cut a piece of a pool noodle just long enough so that it presses down on the glass from the top inside of the microwave and it keeps it from rattling! Thank for taking us along on your adventures. I find it very relaxing and informative. A perfect combination!

At home, I like spitting into the toilet, so I don’t have to clean the toothpaste out of the sink drain hardware. I’ll probably continue that when I start brushing my teeth in the RV.
The “mothball fleet” back when I was a kid..they used to be lined up like a parking lot! It was kind of creepy! Thanks for the trip down memory lane..safe travels…love the property..trees, fresh smell and quaint
i too remember those days. that’s when planet of the apes filmed their last original sequel there. The chimps were running around on a ship and they all got shot up and died except the baby chimp which ricardo montalban took and raised…. ahhh the good old days of saturday afternoon movies.
Have slept overnight in dozens rest stops in California and across the Western U.S. and never been asked to leave or even seen anyone who might have that authority. Slept in my Subaru Outback…..until now. Looking for my ideal Class B and ready to hit the road this summer!

What tires does your new van have and are you happy with them? Are they noisy compared to the stock highway tires? Do you have a favorite highway tire? We have a Travato on a Ram Promaster 3500 I I feel like I need to change the tires from the stock ones. My issue is vibration mostly in the 40 to 50 mph range. Not so much in the steering wheel, as we did have that problem until we installed a Yakima spoiler in front of the roof rack crossbar. Actually I feel the vibration on the floor, more like a slight shimmy. BTW I cannot drive the RAM with shoes on, I find the pedals too close together even though my feet are average. Flip flops in to the van and barefoot driving works well until you forget to put your shoes in the van and take off in 40 degree weather! Thank you.
my tires are the bf goodrich all terrain xo tires. they are fat. loud and terrible for mileage. but they look cool haha. i also drive with my shoes off but for different reasons lol.

Also, I absolutely adore your sister’s UA-cam channel, I’ve learned a lot from her with minimizing as well as being safe hiking. I also wish to thank you for advising the 2.5 gallon water jug, I got one last month feom your Amazon store and used it all month whilst driving from Seattle to Santee for my suspension upgrade with Agike. I loved the jug and saving money on water. Thank you for this idea. A great investment for 10.00.

yes those are the standard curtains you can upgrade to hefty all weather ones if you wish
