- ALL JOKES ASIDE, I think the dub team does a pretty good job redubbing some pokemon (with a few exceptions like pikachu who stay original.) but sometimes it does get confusing if you think about it 😂. Hope you enjoyed my little poke at them.

Just so you know, Eevee's Japanese name is Eievui
which is literally just pronounced as Eevwee, so it is saying it's Japanese name, it's just more or less identical to it's English name.
Should've kept the Japanese voice.

I was confused by Grookey's Japanese voice as well, but I disregarded it because it sounded awesome. The dubbed voices for Grookey and Eevee aren't *that* bad, but I definitely prefer the original voices and don't understand the need to change it

Grookey in Japanese is actually saying the Ru in Sarunori and the onomatopoeia for the sound a monkey makes in Japan being Uki Ruki it’s like Aipom basically just made ooh ooh ahh ahh’s with the occasional Pom

About the part where they don’t need to dub anything like with grookey and eevee, it’s the same thing with the music. Like with the instrumental music, it really isn’t necessary when the works already done. Not to mention the dub changes kill the scene.
the japanese version uses yuki hayashi's scoring, and he's like. one of the biggest names in anime. tpci makes ed goldfarb re-score most things, though, to nake more money off of licensing the music to other dubbers
