They put the dogma on a much-needed diet while maintaining its ride characteristics and performance. For those who like Pinarellos, this is a clear advancement, albeit minor. I think a new evolution of road bikes in general will only come with a better frame material than carbon fibre. Carbo has reached its limit, apparently.
At least it's a unique look, unlike 90% of the bikes out there. Shame about the groupset and wheels though... saving 260g is a decent achievement, though it's for the full frame kit with fork, handlebars, seatpost/clamp, thru-axles, etc.
Did you see a test? I just saw a product placement with press statements of the brand. Not even a first ride impression or a weight in, if weight was the main target. Nothing to see here (yet).
It seems now a days, that all manufactures know they should sell a high-end bike at a 'ridiculous' price, because they know there are some out there with the cash. It's smart to capture that 'small' market.
About the same price as the S-Works bikes that seem to fill Cat 3, 4 and 5 road races yet everyone claims the bike is way to expensive. *rolls eyes* A nice bike and interesting thought process behind the engineering. I'd love to have a ride on one of these one day to see how it compares to my old Cannnondale Super Six HiMod from 11 years ago. Sadly that bike isn't Di2 compatible and clearances for tires wider than 25mm are non-existent and my old bones need a bit more plush whilst bombing down hills.
@@peteravolio2695 Can't speak for geisslerson, but for my type of riding, I love the simplicity, weigh, etc of rim brakes. I'm happy to see that OPTION offered.
Claimed weights for the new Dogma F are 6.9 kg for the disc-brake version with SRAM Red Etap AXS and DT Swiss Arc1400 with no pedals, and 6.8 kg for the rim-brake Dura-Ace Di2 9100-equipped bike with rim brake variant of the same wheels. I weighed the 55 cm review bike at 7.4 kg with Favero Assioma pedals and a single Most bottle cage. So still very heavy.
Two days before the start of the TDF the overpriced boutique brand shows their new toy with Sram group and DT swiss wheels? My proposal: new wheels and new Di2 will follow tomorrow.
Saw the headline, came to see how many comments before someone complained about the price. As it turns out, one. Well done. You win the award for fastest whiner.
@@donadams5094 You are probably not able to understand my point, no problem. Google the business modell of LMVH and come back with new understanding. The wheels have been revealed today (peak 4550). So I was right, suckers.
Comfort & pinarello doesn't go hand in hand. At least never went, till now. Hope its actually comfy when i will test ride, if at all possible for my wallet lol but pretty sure my tcr w/32c will be more comfy
F14 .................... probably too many references to the fighter jet. Not a fan of the look of the Dogma and very interesting the lengths they've gone to try and save weight.
Didn’t understand a word of that bizarre double-speak about the bike not needing a version number. I think Apple started this nonsense. The reason for version numbers is simply to make consumers’ and conpanies’ lives easier - if you change the design you have two different product versions. If you refuse to give them numbered versions you just make it more difficult for people to determine compatability and order parts!
So in other words, if the disk brake version really is down to the 6.8 kg minimum already, it'd be incredibly foolish for Ineos to ride the rim brake version. They'd be giving up the aerodynamic speed increase, giving up the improved stopping ability and safety advantage, and they wouldn't gain any weight savings (as they'd need to add weights to their rim brake bikes to get back up to 6.8).
I saw a couple of videos that proved the rim brake versions are more aerodynamic. I wish I could link them to you, but they are somewhere on UA-cam. :-0
It’s so obvious that Pinarello made the F12 unnecessarily heavy by using heavier components and heavy paints. There is literally nothing new about this bike except for a more inflated price.
Thanks God, you listened and, hopefully, got rid of that hairy one with awful accent presenter! Don't you see how many views you have with Ronan!!!??? Please have respect for your viewers.
Love Ronan's contributions to CT. Super knowledgeable and very easy to listen to
Beautiful bike, as usual from Pinarello! Love the rim brakes option still alive!

For me one of the biggest changes is the way the front folk meets the headtube. Finally looks like it fits properly 👌
Fantastic review!! Smashing bike!! Obviously 😁 Ahead of everyone else I think!! Nice cycle kit too!!
Looking forward to the full review!
Hot damn!! Can't wait to see G crash it!!
Lmao
The fact that cyclingtips hearted this 😂😂😂
Great bike. I would opt for rim brakes though. I hope I will be able to afford it someday :)
I'm for rim brakes too. Simplicity, expense, weight, etc.. I just don't ride down big hills in the rain....
Love the new flat-end down tube and hate where the new rear fork intersects the seat tube. Makes it a lot like what other brands have been doing.
Love Ronans honest and knowledgeable review :)
I feel like sneezing with all the particles in the air. Also, sweet bike!
I love the shape of their bikes. Kind of reminds me of Gaudi and the Sagrada Familia.
that church doesn't have a single right angle in it. Good comparison.
I just wouldn't mind the superceded F12 Dogma in rim brake version , with Shimano Dura Ace Di2
Whenever I see a Dogma on the road I say the F word

Group is great
IT's using Sram Red eTap AXS groupset, nothing shame about it.
SRAM RED AXS is the way to go!!!!!
F8 was a radical change from previous Dogma's, rest have just been tweaks. That's why I love mine and never updated it...
F-14 was probably taken and possibly could have been a trademark breach. Nice save
Tomcat
Same for 16 - 18
how did they not weight the bike so we can see the real world weight smh
3:15 - well, coffee shops will soon offer "massive" cappuccinos (250g espresso is kinda massive, on the other hand).
How tall is your reviewer?
what is the dogma f size in the video?
Thank you.
thanks~
wish you can test a rim brake version~

great Video and great bike as well even thoug I probaply would never be able zo buy one
Love my F10 and love my rim brakes
#rim brakes option!!
and the rim brake version?
Bellissima ❤️🇮🇹
Thank god there is a rim brake variant!
Nice Bike!!! Buying this bike will make my money in the wallet thinner.
Adding the weight loss from the parts mentioned totals 205 grams yet a total weight loss of 265 grams is claimed?
It’s a beautiful looking bike, especially in that colourway. It’s just not one that I or the vast majority of people can ever afford to ride.
It seems now a days, that all manufactures know they should sell a high-end bike at a 'ridiculous' price, because they know there are some out there with the cash. It's smart to capture that 'small' market.
ineos will ride the rim brake version.
Ha! Can't believe they let you ride that piece of art around the wild roads of the North West Ronan!!!!! How's it in the wind and rain??!!!
Rain? In the northwest? Never!

Narrower top tube is needed for those of us with thighs... 🦵
did he mention the weight? i seem to have missed it in the video :(
i like it! but for me a pinarello has to have rim breaks.
You want brakes not breaks!
@@Swampster70 speak for yourself. I could use a coffee break 😉

Flexible?

@Lord Fauntleroy you obviously live where there are no hills and the sun shines constantly, or you're happy to ride on aluminum rims
Well... for such a powerful tool it surpasses all other bikes in shear beauty.
Needs only yellow paint.

Dogma F = Financially can't afford this bike.
*cries with 1 kidney remaining*
Drink every time he says "F"
Never got to see the espresso machine that Panarello is attached to…
Same same but different.
The marketing to justify the ‘F’ sounds like a bit of bs. Maybe we should call it the Dogma FBS.
confused when he said dusk... turned out to be disc
News flash, bikes don't win races, riders win races. And that "F" stands for Fugly.
but without the bike the rider won't win any races
