David you were so lucky to ride this awesome new bike in the best place possible. I wouldn't mind riding my bike in that cold. Right now here in Athens it's 38 degrees.
Great review, the bad weather adds to the content as well, if i was in the market for a £12k tarmac i might as well stretch the budget for one of these. The quick steering is something you would quickly get used to as long as no "tank slapping" happens. Just remember to carry a pair of marigolds next time.
i saw the new Pinarello at my local shop yesterday just an amazing looking bike! dave your comments about the bike swerving from side to side when you are out of saddle im not an engineer but kind of makes sense due to the new narrow headset and the narrower handel bar not enough stability
Hi David, I suppose the new cockpit is perfectly compatible with the outgoing Dogma F frame and its headset? I want to go shorter and tweak my shifter position on my 2022 Dogma F… Thanks.
Let me try to anticipate all that was said about the "new pinarelo" 33434 % lighter 34656 % more stiffer, 46643 % more aero and 695945 % more compliance. Is this it ??
The new Trek Madonda bottles look like a pain in the ass as they can’t be stood upright as the bottle doesn’t have a flat bottom. BMC’s custom cages are designed a round bottle in the same way the frame is shaped for the Dogma. So… yeah, please no special bottles.
“What I have to suffer to bring you new reviews”?? 😆😆😆A fully all expenses paid trip to the Dolomites to ride some posh bikes up some of the world’s most famous climbs?? You had to struggle with the very best Italian food, wine & hospitality?? Oh how you must’ve suffered for us David!!🙄😜 Anyone of us would like to swap with you in a second. Now stop being a tart and tell us the truth. It’s uncomfortable? it’s ugly? (that bottom bracket looks like a telephone directory to me🤮) and it’s waaaaaay overpriced? But much like the emperor’s new clothes - there’s always those that’ll believe the hype and buy one! Hope you had a great trip David.😎👍🏻
@@christophertan3195 100% agreed. I was at a Pinarello demo day yesterday. Brakes were 100% fine and quite remarkable with no squeaking. It started raining and that game was over immediately. Was on the Campagnolo Ekar(known for great breaking) for that run. For the event I was on three different brakes systems of different manufacturers(SRAM Red, Dura Ace and Campag Ekar). There was no squeaking on any of the bikes until it started raining.
Always like your style of producing videos. But I sometimes have trouble hearing what you say because of the tempo and accent. Positive feedback. Now to the content of this video. I'm trying to find the right words to describe my thoughts. A bike so ridiculously expensive and still the design team is unable to simulate everything? To me this just is a lot of bs. The new bike is just a little nuance compared to the old(er) one(s). Like altering the paint scheme. It's obvious that you don't have the latest and greatest because of this. However for most of us shedding our body weight would bring more gain than upgrading our bike. Reducing weight and aerodynamic drag alone will make me much faster on almost any entry level bike. Curious to hear what you think? But a stunning and very Italian looking bike and a very impressive PR job.
Obviously, it’s made to win races. And they only make professional race trim versions. I can’t ride it comfortably. I wouldn’t mind going through the pain for 3 days Dolomites with an premium hotel with wonderful Italian food and wine though.
Well survived, David. The weather looks awful. Great review and brilliant to hear from the designer team. Look forward to more of that.
Thanks 🙏
“it is freeeezing cold” he says while not wearing gloves
That noise is standard disx brakes when they are wet or containated.

The so called new Toray M40x fiber is already used by Canyon in some of their top end race and MTB bikes. Just doing some free research for you ❤

Hi David
Loving the new dogma🚴♂️👍 been a fan since day one. Great video as always
Thanks 👍

Here is an idea for your next review: thermal gloves!!
Ha ha my thoughts exactly!! Mmmm
Probably he has to handle the camera and stuff
😂😂😂
He couldn't afford the gloves after he bought the jacket he had no money left
My F10 still gets the job done! That said, if I win the lottery, I'll definitely get me the latest dogma!
When can we expect a full review? I'm seriously considering this over an SL8 and really value your opinion....
The test bike has literally arrived today so soon hopefully - any specific questions?
@@davidarthur just keen for your general review for a weekend warrior !
i have a two half year old dogma f with 42 cm handelbar and no left to right swerve out of the saddle!
I do own a Dogma F and wonder why Pina didn´t add any extention to the name - or did I miss someting ?

BIKES CORTANDO O VENTO IGUAIS AS ESPADAS NINJAS.
CADA VEZ MAIS AFIADAS💡
David, definitely one of your best reviews.....Cheers Mate!! (mind your fingers!!! worth more than the bloody bike) Pjw
Hello from here 🇵🇹 👋 . What are your thoughts on the new dogma vs the sl8 ? 🙌
The elephant in the room; how much David?
Great review David 😊 not a bike for me personally but good to listen to the design teams ideas 👍🚴🏻Pete 🚴♀️
Beautiful place for a test ride.
are you going to review the X?
If they let me yeah I’d love to
Tcr advanced sl, sworks sl8 or this new dogma f?
Giant for value, Specialized for aero and weight, Pinarello for posing 😜
Appreciate the interview. Might need to pack some water resistant gloves next time 😂
The lurching from side to side when climbing looks energy sapping or inefficient. Was that what you experienced? Great review and get some gloves
Does anyone know where this extremely expensive Dogma F frame is made?
Great video David. Would you swap it for your gorgeous c68?
Awesome build and new improved Pinarello Dogma design but, boggles that you weren't wearing any form of gloves like full fingered ones.💯👌🏻✌🏻🚴♂️
You don’t get to say rim brakes aren’t dead, when the only model it’s still offered on is the outgoing version.
Yes, because we need a new superbike in our stable every. single. year.

Lovely colour
Gloves?
What lock would you mount on this bike? I’m thinking the New York Fahgettaboudit Chain and New York Disc Lock. 4.9kg but it gets a good rating. 😂
“Fahgettaboudit chain” 😂😂😂 classic mate. 😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I'd go for a used armoured truck! 🚛
why not make the custom aero bottles??? like other brands... seems like theres plenty of saved watts hidden there. something for the next dogma f?
It's not practical, the down tube is designed to shield the bottle

@@kimwarner6050 3-4-5 watts saved are very practical... and the downtube could go slimmer aswell
@@siitan83 I ride for fun, I don't care

What date did you actually ride?
This or the madone?
Madone
Dogma F anyday, many difference
You can't help but like the designer, accent very nice, enjoyed listening to him. Ty
Say hello to Dylan at Sportskostner Corvara hopefully I will be riding an x in September!
£15,000 and they can’t even set up the brakes correctly 🤦♂️
£15K comment right there 😂
it's usually like that when in the wet it's normal

What's the point of it being more aero if you end up having to ride further because it zigzags up every road? 😂
Where are your gloves?!
If is so cold, why not using gloves?!
Looks like an road e bike 😂 maybe it is one too? 😂
Gloves?! 🤣
Great " machina"😊
macchina
The back looks like venge.
Amazing bike £15k 😲 😲💰💰💰🙄
Advert? Sorry but no way a pushbike is worth £15k!
No it's not an advert
Fair enough, fair play for travelling to the Dolomites to review a Pinarello bike on your own accord!!
Looks lovely… apart from the bottom bracket. That looks awful. Chunky monkey.
Van Rysel 😅
Aero thru axles. What nonsense
Gaffer tape. Done! Now I have a bike with the latest aero feature. 🤣
Sounds like it's not the most ideal bike for the majority of people who could afford it.

China or Tawain, that's where almost every bike is made these days.
Far away from California! Lol
It sure is!
As per usual well overpriced
So to summarise: Over reactive, twitchy steering and uncomfortable. Hmm.
... and ugly. 😅
If you wear gloves like a normal person instead of for fashion maybe your hands wouldn’t be freezing 😂
