I love your voice. I have a british accent too but it's monotonous with no confidence and no one wants to listen to it. It makes me embarrassed to speak. I hope I can have a range like yours sometime.
I'm actually 16 and I'm only watching this to work on my voice before a presentation coming up, but I loved this anyway although I don't have the chance to do what he advised but I'm looking forward to do it in the future.. overall just loved the idea
It's all about practice I would say. If you try out voices, explore the range of your own voice, you will learn to accept it or even be proud/amazed by your own voice. And this does not nesecceraily mean doing funny voice, it could also simply be to practice your speaking/presenting voice, trying out intonations and volumes

Some of the most famous singers have scratchy voices. Maybe try to accept your natural voice :)
