I have seen some of your camera rolls, and I am FLABBERGASTED! Somehow there are phones with over 100,000 files in the camera roll!!
This is getting a bit technical, but I personally started using this flash drive because I wanted to be able to back up my files after my trips and transfer them to the computer.
So far my backup workflow has errors in every step of the process and needs constant oversight because I can’t trust the technology...
For instance, for some reason iPhones don’t add timelapse videos taken from the phone to albums. This has been a major issue for me because then I need to dig through the main camera roll to find the timelapse and it’s never sorted with the rest of the sub-album.
My process before was uploading to Dropbox but found out too late that if I uploaded a large amount (like 600 videos) many of them didn’t get uploaded.
Transferring directly via iCloud or iTunes also had issues because the iOS file management has no easy recognizable naming method and is extremely inefficient.
While it’s not a perfect solution, and the flash drive only goes up to 256GB, I now have peace of mind that I have the ability to move files and dump them on my computer.

Please help🙌 Why is Sandisk not detected after plugging it into the phone? At first it was good, but then it wasn't detected?

I am considering buying this but I red some bad reviews on the app. Quite a few users wrote its not solid. That it has troubleshooting issues - disconnecting, stops working after upgrades, not working with ipad air, a non existing customer service etc.
One said that it changes the name of the files after transfer.
What is your experience after all this time you have it?
I used to love this, purchased it a while ago. The app unfortunately no longer works so now i have to open the usb file on my laptop, dissapointing☹️
Did they ever update the app? This looks like a really good solution for me (trying to just backup my photos and videos only to windows PC).
Get yourself a laptop and an external hardrive and do it properly . These ways are always problematic
File transfer is not a simple drag and drop. Eg I have some file documents on iPad. I can't just select folder and transfer folder.
Are there better ones because mine can’t play videos that I edited and some photos get corrupted

I think apple blocked this feature lately so people buy icloud storage from them.

Is there a way to record directly to the external storage? I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max 128gb and i want to record ProRes 4k 60fps in an external storage

@@anandvideos1 yup, it's impossible 🥲 but I can only record in ProRes at 4k 30fps with the app BlackMagic Camera. It's ok for me
Greetings: I am not that familiar with the iJunks. However, knowing software / hardware, I figure U would have 2 'mount' the drive 2 "record". This creates path and index. Removal would unmount erasing path, index and probably files. Suggestion 2 try- Mount, record, transfer then remove device. However this seems rather impractical.
I bought one for like almost 40$ and lost it and I bought another one and I’m going to try it out now see how it goes

What APP?
My videos upload as "video paired" which are 2 sec clips, instead the entire video. Do you know why or how to correct this? I don't want to lose my kids videos after transferring.
Wait, how do you transfer files?? It only allows me to transfer photos and videos. I want to transfer zip files, etc. (P.S. I’m not tech savvy) 😅

I’m doing it right now so I suppose it is? Just don’t lose it and it will be fine. Just make sure to get a good flash drive.
Greetings: Suggestion- Use flash as temporary transport device. Then transfer on archive device. Timme consuming however probably effective.

If you just want to transfer files to your pc just use a normal cable its faster

Guys is there a faster, cheaper/ in 10-20$ range type of solution to transferring all the data because with the normal cable to pc laptop it takes hours and then in the middle disconnects. Then you gotta start from scratch.
Just make an encrypted back up to a computer
