Nope. They hacked my email account, so any notifications FB sends goes to them. They are in Vietnam and changed my phone to an international Vietnamese number. Then, they created a fake FB account with my birthday, phone and my secondary email account. Any communication with FB, such as taking a pic of your photo ID, is now associated with the fake account not the one the hackers stole.
My wife's FB account was hacked. Someone changed the email, password and required 2FA. I was totally frustrated after nearly three days of trying to figure it out. Saw your video and the key for me was establishing a new email account. With that, and uploading her ID, within the hour she was back on FB. Thank you so much, you're awesome.
How did you get past the 2FA? Facebook finally approved my ID but when I went through the login process and entered the password they sent me it still brought me to the 2FA page. This is a bunch of crap and Facebook needs better security and customer service. I don’t really don’t want to lose my account because of the memories…

Tried this couple days ago myself. After doing the process it's just takes you to a lig in screen & starts u all over again. Not sure why it works for some people & not others, but of course I'm the unlucky one.
Found the solution! After you verify your account with the ID or passport or anything they need. You will get a code. That code you use it for login into the account(instead of the password), then you select to remove 2FA and remove the hacker email and done your account is back!.
This is clearly the most important comment on the video. It helped me to realize the key part of the process is using the code you receive in the email once the identity is verified by uploading the ID or passport. Thanks a lot Alin!

Somebody hacked my account from Nigeria, and instead of it saying two-way authentication, it says login code required. Maybe that’s the same thing, but even after submitting my ID and getting the email with a new password to enter after entering in that password, it still asked for this login code, and they linked their phone number and also logged my account out of ALL Other Acounts. Do you have access to A computer like a desk top that you have logged into before? Because that was how I finally got Facebook to me able to remember me and also I had to be logged into my Gmail account on the same browser that I was logging into Facebook on. It probley has something to do with that email also being my username on Facebook, Well it used to be anyways before they hijacked my shit.
I suggest giving an alternative email like shown in the video because that's how I was able to get the recovery code to reset the password while the hacker changed my primary email too. My problem now is the two-factor authentication.

@@thorodinson4380 no, I did not. I can't even do the ID picture scan on my phone or computer to bypass it. On my phone it says that I've tried too many times and to try again in a week. On my computer it says that I don't have access to that feature at the moment.

Can you help me, my Facebook got hacked and the hacker put a security key on it. Every time I get an email now it comes through all encrypted so have no way to reset password (they also took my phone number off)

Do you have access to A computer like a desk top that you have logged into before? Because that was how I finally got Facebook to me able to remember me and also I had to be logged into my Gmail account on the same browser that I was logging into Facebook on. It probley has something to do with that email also being my username on Facebook, Well it used to be anyways before they hijacked my shit.
I suggest giving an alternative email like shown in the video because that's how I was able to get the recovery code to reset the password while the hacker changed my primary email too. My problem now is the two-factor authentication.
i have tried uploading the ID several twice but i used the same email i used to log in the hacked account. I havent received a response from FB it has been 48 hours already but i have uploaded my ID I think 3 times. Perhaps my email has been flagged? how do we unflagged the email? appreciate a reply from you.

Do the names on your id have to match your name on facebook? Like if I am Tom Smith my name on facebook can not be Tom htims?

I guess the hacker has set up a two-factor authenticaion when he got into my account, and even after sending my passport and using that link it still just sends me straight back to the authentication section but i obviously can't receive the code myself...how do i fix this??

You need the hackers password to change the password AND you need the hackers password to remove 2 step Authentication.
hacker removed my email and also changed the reciving code method. my phone number is still in my account but i dont se any option to recieve code via SMS. only the email can recieve the code which is the hacker email.
