- A van driver doesn't complete an overtake and just changes lane without checking mirrors or just not caring. Have reported this drvier and got standard reply, which means driver will probably get a warning letter.
Ford Transit Custom 2.0 300 EcoBlue Limited L2 H1 Euro 6 (s/s) 5dr 2022
Registration: HV22XTA
Body type: Panel Van
Colour: Grey
First registered: Mar 2022
100% the cyclists fault. How dare he ride a cycle within 50mtrs of a Transit driver. 😂😂😂
Absolutely terrible driving, and so dangerous.
it was until, silvio tail gates the van, tried to undertake the van but is blocked by the parked vehicles.
then he uses the parking spaces to undertake the van, pulling in front of it to block it again.
so no police action to be taken, as silvio would also have action to be taken against himself.
For once that we're friends with the Mirror guy Sean Sean comes here and tries to stir trouble!
@seansean9675, You didn't mention silvio cycling in the door zone .
@@SilvioDiego statements of facts shown in your video silvio, is a simple matter when you watch the video.
@@neiljones4025 Good point! He always mentions that!
Writing from the US, it's amazing that they will even be sent a letter. Here, there are no consequences for bad driving, so everyone does whatever they want.
And this is why I gave up commuting by bicycle and got a motorcycle. Pushbikes are Too dangerous. Motorists seem to think that if they can “accidentally “ run you over and remove you from the world they be doing a public service.
Statistics say otherwise... I think you'll find there are motorcycle accidents than the ones involving cyclists.
@@SilvioDiego statistics have never been physically assaulted because a van driver didn’t want them in the road.
@@SilvioDiegoThat's because most cyclists ones go unreported. I speak from experience, I've been hit twice by drivers who pulled out in front of me, on both occasions I was hurt and police wanted nothing to do with either of them.
so you're guys are saying that a motorized bike which can achieve speeds of 100 miles per hour is less likely to have a serious accident than a push bike? .... neat thinking!
I've driven a panel van. The one I drove hid a Ford Focus in the "blind spot" for a couple of miles (driver was camping in the shade produced by the van). Still would've been my fault if I had hit the guy. This guy must have thought you disappeared in a puff of smoke when he couldn't see you anymore.
Can't believe you got back in front of him after the 1st encounter .
it was to teach him a lesson.
@@SilvioDiegopretty immature and stupid of a lesson huh?
Very poor driving and dangerous.
No excuse for that, needs to learn some fucking patience
Van driver makes stupid mistake. Cyclist then puts himself at further risk cycling too close to parked cars.
Nah, that was deliberate. Driver knew the rider was there and still elected to pull an unnecessary o/take and risk Sylvio's life.
Shit driving but the cyclist does nothing about it you cam see it going to happen and choose to not fix the issue as you have to be correct
The rider avoided the collision in spite of the apalling dangerous driver who was fully aware the rider was there. The rider fixed the issue by ensuring he wasn't run over
Stop trying deflecting the attention from where it should be - you should have limited your comment to the first 2 words
@@bestbehave stop expecting perfection I never have as much problems on the roads . These people. The cyclist reluctantly backed out of the situation late . Granted the van should have waited but the thing is you ain't going to get perfect drivers all the time.
@@wrightwoodwork You've never been left hooked? of course you haven't.
Nobody expects perfect. That manouver was recklessly and negligently incompetent, and a collision was avoided by the rider, not by the driver
Do not overtake and turn left - rule 182 HWC. You have read the HWC haven't you?
@@bestbehave of course I have just dealt with it a got on with life. The difference is that I would back out as soon as I could see dumb driver being an arse . I don't care who is in the wrong. Being alive is more important than being right
@@wrightwoodwork Aaah, so you do get these problems on the road, inspite of claiming that you don't. And you avoid collisions, just like Sylvio did. Until the day that you, not being "perfect", don't, and get wiped out by some willfully incompetent driver.
Sylvio reported a dangerous driver - what exactly are you moaning about?
You're both as bad as each other
but one is driving a killing machine, the other one a 12kg bike... think about it!
@@SilvioDiegostill doesn’t exempt you for taking responsibility of shite riding
Your a bell end you did that to provoke the van driver and then intentionally got in front to block him
