Something that worked well for me after a very painful breakup as part of a meditation routine was to set aside some time to intentionally focus on all the negative thoughts. The idea is to have this time to wallow in your negativity/misery. This works sort of like a vent. After the time (10 min or however long) is up, you have to stop and continue with another meditation technique. At first it made me absolutely furious and sad. But after a few sessions I found it very useful. Whenever I felt the sorrow creeping up on me in my everyday life, I reminded myself that this was not the place to handle it. That the feelings are valid, but will get properly addressed the next meditation session. I found it comforting to know that it is okay and that I will be able to “ugly cry” it out later. And that it’s going to feel so good.
Thank you for your comment. It’s very healing to cry! Congratulations on finding the technique that worked best for you. It sounds like you gave yourself the ability to rely on yourself to figure out your own problems and that is so commendable. It’s so important to have that ability to build confidence and competence!! 🎉🎉
Thank you girlie😭💔
You are so welcome! I am making a part 2 ❤❤❤
Psychologically, it's important to take time to grieve. You can grieve changes, breakups, friendship breakups, anything really
That’s such a great point. It doesn’t have to be a break up. Anything tough that you go through, you can use to make you into a better person 😊
You go girl 🎉
Thank you 🎉🎉🎉😊
