I have a question that has been bothering me ever since I've been watching videos of new homes throughout the country all these new homes that have these big fancy doors that open up the inside to the outside vice versa as nice and sweet as it all looks making the transition so much nicer the question I have is are there no snakes or squirrels or birds where these people live that they can just leave these massive doors wide open and leave their house exposed while they're in other rooms walking around or doing whatever they're doing and while they're in those rooms doing whatever they're doing some snake comes sneaking in or squirrel comes running in there or bird goes flying in does that not happen where these people live are there none of these creatures around I've been curious for a long time to ask someone that. Thanks
That's a fair question I'd say. I see this house is in Melbourne, Australia but don't know what the local wildlife there is I'm afraid. In the UK, at least in a large part of it, you'd probably only be concerned about bugs and insects coming in through the large opening windows/ doors. Snakes, almost never and only occasionally maybe a bird or squirrel but for the most part, at least where I live, I'd be perfectly happy to leave them open for a big part of any warm day. In Oz though, there are no doubt lots more animals and birds that could pop in for a 'wander round'!

Streetfront was strong. Handsome material mix. Nice composition of forms. But the interior and the atrium are weak, almost bleak feeling. No evidence of human life here. A successful art gallery, just missing the art.
