Brother you are not alone in that situation. My wife backed the truck up into a plow blade! The result being a punctured sidewall of a $250.00 tire! The answer to the question, how did that happen? I shouldn't have the plow sitting there! Sound familiar!
Yeah, I should just keep my mouth shut, but I told her just to unhook it somewhere out of the way next time. So, same scenario this past weekend and she asks where to unhook it and I told her. I get down there and, instead, she’s unhooked it again right where it sat, leaving it in the exact spot. I just shook my head and shut up!
Hey i would think it would be a good idea to pioe up all them trees and pick up the wood in the creek and have a big marshmallow roast it would look so nice

I lost some hot wire check cattle no wire could not find it anywhere. Few days latter wife said car making noise found hot wire wrapped around drive shaft at rear end it tore up seal oil leaked out. I had to replace rear end on car.
Dang! Yeah we have to watch for net wrap getting around axles and what not . Same issues with it ruining a seal or causing other issues. That’s one reason we try to unwrap all our hay

What do you use to disinfect the coop between batches? When I married, my mom in law taught me to dry clear everything out of the coop, sweep, then use the crystal Drano (lye😉) on all the coop surfaces, let soak about 10 minutes, then flush well with fresh water from the hose. Her coop (now mine and currently being used to house dogs and their houses) was built by my dad in law: cement floor, slightly above ground level, and cement blocks up 4’. So the cleaning was easier than having a threshold. I did the same routine and with my last batch of 50 chicks (Rock/Cornish for the table), I didn’t lose even one chick😁! I felt sooo proud of myself! But that’s been like 20 years ago, now. Hired Amish to butcher them on shares. But they moved away, I couldn’t find another willing and NO WAY I’m gonna do that many myself!!🤪😂! Good luck with yours!
We just clean all the litter out and sweep it. We haven’t ever applied any type of disinfectant.
What kind of fence gloves are those Bobby Lee?
Geier gloves. I believe the ones I’m using for fencing are bison. I also have the cowhide gloves I use for general purpose. The bison is a little better suited for the barbed wire.

Hey now, speak for your wife, but not all women! My husband's the terrible driver. I pull a 30 foot travel trailer (not 5th wheel) and can back that in on a dime. Never had an accident (knocking on wood) and just got my 1st speeding ticket last year. I'm in my 40's. 😂😂😂 I have a LEAD foot, too!! I've always said Nascar would be happy to have me!!!
P.S. why can't you lift a container without dropping it and breaking things?? Hmmm??

Do you ever cut those fallen trees into logs to burn in fireplaces or BBQ smokers? Or, do you just leave it?
Yes, we do occasionally, but we have far more trees fall than we could ever need. We have a little fire pit on the back patio that we keep some wood cut up for.

I’m not going to say anything about your statement about women drivers, shock I know. I just think she was in a hurry to do what she wanted to do, unhooked it and since it’s not important to her she ran it over because she wasn’t paying attention to what she should have been.

Why can’t husbands just be nice to there wife’s we go around and do so much for them and try to help and all we get is fussed at. What’s the point in being married and trying to help your husband when us woman so the men say can’t do nothing right. Men will never be thankful for us ladies.
