- It is starting to warm up in Alabama, and the rye grass is starting to grow. The ground is finally dry enough to spread some chicken litter. We also did a quick update on the calves we shipped to Missouri and how they did.

Thank you for the Bible talk, more people need to hear what the Word of God says. I also like how you explain the process of your work. God bless you guys!
Thank you very much! We appreciate the feedback and hope we can help reach others through our videos.
Y’all gonna need a forklift to carry that cattle check around. Lol! But seriously it’s a good thing cattle are bringing that much considering the cost of everything.
😂😂 If we had pre-covid expenses we would be living high on the hog!
Hey Ben I’m related to you down the line. Me and my grandpa Candler Hunt would like to visit your farm sometime here soon. I run cows myself and I’m glad I can watch y’all’s videos and learn from them
Hey! We’d love to have y’all come visit!
Perfect video! Informative, funny, and Book of Job was very encouraging. Friday night after a long week is when I struggle the most with patience. Thank you all for sharing!.
Thank you! Winter weekends are always tough for me. 3 young kids in a small house. Looking forward to more outdoor time this spring!!
Great explanations and great book to study.

Congratulations on your cattle sale! I sold some 674# steers in Kentucky Monday that brought $2.70, I was extremely happy with that!

Same here!!
Thin. Very thin. ❤❤❤
I’m assuming you are talking about the rye grass?? 😂😂
Good stuff, that rye really took off, dealing with livestock is always "interesting" the pricing and following feed/grain prices, got to pay attention, I think Y'all done good, I also appreciate both of Y'alls willingness to share the Gospel👍❤🙏🙏🙏 BTW, that 20 acres looks like it is responding favorably to the efforts Y'all have put in, Good work, You ought to show some before and after shots, some of that clay won't do much w/o a ton of work😲
Thank you! We’ve got some 70 degree weather this week so hope that rye grass keeps on growing! Cows seem to be slowing some on hay.
We’re hesitant to buy many calves right now. At some point, the market will start heading back down. Sure would hate to have a lot of money tied up in some high dollar calves and then the market head south. We try to show all sides of our life and our faith is a big part of that. Farming can be difficult at times, but knowing there is something bigger than all this helps us keep going. We’ll have to dig back and see if we can find some clips or pictures from the work on that 20 acres. We did a video or two (I think) from then. It’s probably been at least 2 or more years. It’s pretty neat to go ride on it. A lot of time and sweat went into it but now we can reap the benefits.
Just commenting for the algorithms. 🎉
We appreciate it!
Great video. Were those 9 weight steers the ones y’all bout around 6 weight? What did you feed them?
Thanks! Yes they were. They had hay, grass grazing and a silage based ration.
What sale barn did you send them to
They went to Joplin, Missouri
