Steve is like a drum machine. No groove or soul. Just going through the motions. That doesn't make him a bad drummer, he's just never drove the band like Stan did. PERIOD.

I however really still like some of his new music even better - his new song, Wicked Mind sounds a lot like his work with Tom Petty and the Traveling Willburys (who he never worked with but you can hear their influence on that new song). This new song was posted February 2022 on UA-cam.
